Queueing system is a bit confused and slow but food is genuine and good. Expect to wait for a bit if you arrive during rush hour but definitely worth it. Feels a lot more home cooked than Coco Di Mama, for instance. Haven't tried the paninis but the pasta is definitely recommended.

Great cafe for food. Best breakfast round here, excellent sausages. Staff are awesome. Missed a sandwich on one of our office orders, they came down a delivered the missing one no questions asked. Highly recommended.

Fresh cooked pasta to order; repeating weekly menu - Affumicata (smoked chicken and mushroom in a creamy sauce) on Tuesday's my favourite. They've got a constantly changing ready to serve option and sandwiches too which are both very popular as well so queues can get a bit long 12-12:30 but well worth the wait. Friendly staff who get to know the regulars and can sometimes help speed things along; appreciated. Old school quality food for lunch, beats the chains hands down even when the kitchen has a rare off day.

Classic sandwich and pasta place on Bow-lane. It was here when I worked in the city 10 years ago and it's still going as strong today. Same Italian gentleman in charge. Generous portions...

Been going here for breakfast and lunch for 8years. Super service from Anthony and his team, great selection of hot and cold food. For a non chain lunch (Pret / Eat etc) around Cheapside it's the best.
