Subway

We came here from the airport from a trip to Spain we al all exhausted and have had a very intense day and coming here and chatting to the people here was brilliant! They were friendly and joked with us! It made us all feel much brighter we tried to get their names but they were serving other customers!
On a Sunday (today) at 6pm which shows great customer care!

Very slow, waited 20 minutes in queue, the lady took 10 minutes to serve each customer, eventually left because we were in a rush. Other subways can do a much better job. Absolutely terrible.

It was a lovely summers morning, In February, quite high winds but nothing too bad.
Its started when they couldn’t even cut the bread straight, after inspecting the knife used, it wasn’t bent 🧐🤔. So no excuses there!
After ordering an Italian BMT (not to be mistaken for a BLT), the meaty layers got deposited on the bread, we advanced onto the salad section!
After giving VERY simple instruction of All the salad except the tomatoes and olive, the salad man proceeded to do just that, apart from it wasn’t just that! Missing out half the salad asked for and still sprinkling two hand fulls of olives, despite us saying, *man grabs first set of olives* “no olives mate” *man grabs second set of olives* “no olives”, it was clean at this point we weren’t having it our way, we were having it there way!

Oh and the meat ball marinara was so hard it could have been used as the foundations for the empire state building! (My thumb in picture had full body weight subjected on it).

Staff is polite and service was OK. The salads were not very fresh,they didn't provide us with trays.

The two ladies serving clearly had other places to be this morning. They did use manners out of habit rather than to be pleasant or to give good customer service.

Awful attitude with the girl behind the counter, I only asked if they were open and she couldn’t even acknowledge me, then rolling her eyes. It puts you off being a HGV driver. Subway looked dirty anyway and she was on her phone instead of cleaning the place.

Maybe I was unlucky but when I visited the services was busy, alot of people not wearing masks. As it was busy had to wait in line for 10mins but unfortunately the wrap I got wasn't the best, seemed tight on the portions.
