A fab traditional sandwich and hot food takeaway bar run by a down to earth and friendly team who make the buying process a laugh and a pleasure. They even bought 2 little espresso cups just for my wife and i when we became regulars :) We're losing these kind of charming places under the pressure of the plastic wrapped food chains. Pay them one visit and you'll definitely return again and again. Brilliant.

Went to this local bakery in Rickmansworth and ordered two jacket potatoes. They had about 6 showing in their display. The lady says they are all reserved and she couldn't sell me one. Meanwhile the other lady says are you vegetarian? What relevance is that Yes I'm Asian but guess what we are NOT all vegetarian . I would think oh that's nice she is being considerate but YES I did just hear your last conversation with your customer on how the gym you use to go to was full of too many Indians so you left the gym! I can't even call her a racist lady she more fits the ignorant Britain first supporter! Will be reporting to the race and equality for the local council. All fellow Chorleywood friends have been advised through all means of communication and we will be boycotting this racist place!

Shaista Khalid - I hope your friends have all worked out that you are a liar, a drama queen and most likely a racist yourself.

I was in the shop on the day you are talking about and I can vouch for the fact that there were 3 jacket potatoes, 2 of which had been reserved.

You wanted 2 potatoes, there was only one spare. Deal with it and get that chip off of your shoulder.

You asked for a vegetarian meal, so you were asked if you were a vegetarian. Your comment about the gym is laughable, I can assure you that no one who works in that shop goes to the gym.

This is the best place in Rickmansworth to pick up lunch.

Shaista Khalid is a liar,if you are her friend be wary she could be telling lies about you too. Or may be she reserves the lies for white people.

Love the food, and a really enjoyable experience.

Food is good and the bread is as it should be fresh from a bakery.
I like to come to this place for lunch 2-3 a month wish I was closer as it would be more. for £3-5 you can expect a substantial fresh lunch. I love the burgers, and prawn pasta. The service is personal and fun and friendly.

I used to go here when I worked in Ricky to buy a salad sandwich. As I was in Ricky Friday I went back to buy a salad sandwich but to my shock i found it very expensive. Lettuce, tomato and onion on white for £3.20. It was nice but I won't be going back.

Went here on a random hunger settler. The ladies there perfected my bacon sarny and I got a free tea. Can't really go wrong. The sarny was filled well and the tea settled my belly neatly. All for less than 4 quid.
Oh did I add that the ladie were very kind.
