I love Subway, it's SO much more of a pleasant experience (choosing the bread, the filling, and toppings etc whilst chatting to the staff,) than other fast food chains, and healthy and damn tasty too! Unbeatable!

If you want to see misery then go to the Subway at Hindpool. I thought the staff were going to kill me for ordering a sandwich. The sub was so poorly made I had to reconstruct it when I got home so it would resemble something worth eating. I would of complained but I didn't have the nerve. I think complaints are all they get. The other Subway in town is good. I'm never going back to this one.

Absolutely rude and miserable staff... cross contamination city if your a veggie... poor woman in front of me was mortified when they were using same gloves to handle meat right before serving her. Subway in dalton road seems far superior, much more switched on.

Edit: 23/09/20 .... John.. so so rude. Shockingly so.

Good apart from the guy behind the counter dissing people who don't eat meat. His words were "don't think people in barrow are that sad" when I ordered a meat free meatball sub. I haven't eaten meat for 6 years and thought his attitude was pretty shocking

Food was good staff was a bit obnioxious but to be fair to the lad there was a group of teenage girls that point blank refused to leave when he was asking them and there wernt really anything he could do about it

baguette and fillings taste fresh, very busy at lunchtime, you might not get much chatter as the staff seem to be focused on whizzing you thru, which I think is great, i don't waste my lunchbreak in a queue.

Had some good sarnies out of here, one or two of the staff can be a bit snooty though

Been to this a few times now. Staff seem stressed and need to smile once in a while. If I fancy subway I walk the extra 10 mins to dalton rd. Better service and staff make you feel welcome. Food is good a little tight with the salad box though.
