The Picnic Basket

Highly recommend this restaurant. After hearing lots of people recommend this place, we decided to visit today. Excellent selection of take away items. The salad boxes are simply amazing. The best salad I've had. So fresh and flavourful. They also had a great selection of cakes on offer which I can't wait to go back and try. We were also asked if there were any allergies they should be aware of which, although we don't have any, was very thoughtful of them. Top marks.

All members of staff are lovely. Have only had sandwiches and cake so far. All were deelish. Plan to have more off the menu soon 😋

Delicious food, friendly service and all for a great price.

I had a plain chicken salad box with added hummus...I didn't want it to end. Could not have got any fresher, proper chicken breast meat and amazing salad. The Hummus was outstanding. Highly recommended and thank you to the team in picnic basket for making it for me. 🙏🏻

Great wee shop and very reasonably priced for all meals. Good servings and great food... Definitely enough fir two or three sharing. Worth a visit

Great wraps and sandwiches amongst other good foods, the cakes are too inviting.

Chicken wraps have always been a hot product especially for school students, new owners did a good job revitalising it however I think they went a little too fancy for my liking. Solid lunchtime pick and a certified Prestwick main street staple.
