The best subway I’ve ever been too!
The shop is clean and well presented, all good items look fresh and containers all full. The staff are really polite and friendly. I visited twice as the COVID lockdown was beginning to ease and the staff put everyone at ease whilst ensuring that all rules were kept! Can’t recommend enough, the staff and management really deserve some recognition for this!

Food in shop is decent. But deliveries need a LOT of work. Latest delivery was late. Items were missing. Restaurant couldn't refund so had to resend. The missing items arrived with ingredients missing. Just ridiculous. Only giving 3 stars because the in shop experience is a bit better. 2 stars for delivery.

Poor customer service. Stood at ordering point with my family for an uncomfortable length of time, waiting for service, without anyone even acknowledging our presence. Shop was very quiet at the time, with only delivery orders being handled. Manager was more interested in berating a junior staff member for smoking during a delivery than serving customers in the shop. Even after his public disciplining, she still refused to acknowledge our presence, despite obvious eye contact. We left without ordering.

A small branch that is quite slow. Never sure what times they are open. Subs are pretty standard.

i used to come here with my friends and it was pretty average. went today and when i pulled up, a male worker was staring at me from under the sign in their window. i felt a bit uncomfortable and went to message my friend to see what they wanted ordering. when i looked back up i saw him with his phone on the counter facing me behind his arm as if he was filming me and trying to hide it. he was staring at his screen for a while and after telling my friend about this i decided I'd go elsewhere for lunch. the staff were always ok, never stood out to me. but this made me so uncomfortable i can guarantee I won't be coming back. shame that all the locals hate this place really as it had such potential.

In-store service is fine, not too busy and no missing items.

Went to Subway today and was served by Lydia. She is a credit to Subway, a real gem. Everything was perfect and was served with a smile. I hope she is paid well for her exquisite efforts.

As a side note I have heard rumours about Subway in Magor from my nephew, an ex-employee, not paying their staff to work after hours and that breaks are sparse - if there are any at all.

For this I deduct a star, as I do not stand by these conditions for our hard working youth. They deserve better treatment, and their managers absolutely KNOW this. No good manager makes their staff feel less than capable.

Subway, please fix these indiscrepancies, or the law will catch up with you.

But as before, Lydia was fab. Lydia, you deserve far more. Thank you again.
