Beautiful cottage and lovely friendly owners. Well recommended!

Our 2nd visit and as good as last time. Comfortable, warm and homely.

We have stayed here on many occasions and find the property to be of the best quality self catering holiday let.

Stayed for a long weekend for my birthday as going abroad in current circumstances was not an option. What can i really say. Well the hosts were absolutely brilliant, fantastic cottage with everything you could need and if something you need is not present the hosts do there upmost to accommodate. It is in the heart of Thirsk but is so peaceful! We live in a village in Buckinghamshire and Fern Cottage was quieter! All i can really say is we are going to come back next year without a doubt.

This is a 4-star self-accommodation.
I have stayed in many 4 star (or so called) accommodation and many 5 Star.
The attention to detail, warm welcome and total perfection this accommodation is at worst top 4 star! 10/10 in my opinion and should be 5star. I have stayed in a few so called 5 star places and few come close to this place!
The hosts were superb, I could not fault the book in process or the welcome pack.

Would I recommend this place? YES YES YES for a couple to get away this is my top recommendation!

We stayed for 3 nghts in November, the cottage was warm and cosy at all times, Andy and Sal are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond to make your stay special, they provided so many lovely extras, which were much appreciated, thank you. We have stayed in many self catering cottages, 36, to be exact, Fern Cottage is up there at the top, can't wait to return.

A most enjoyable stay at this hidden gem.Quiet yet central for all the amenities of Thirsk .Well equipped with all you need for a perfect stay.Beautiful garden to enjoy and lovely owners.
