We have just returned from a five day visit to Lincoln, staying at Danesgate. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and very well situated near to amenities and all the historical sites. The sauna and spa bath helped us unwind from busy walking days. We had a family member who walks with a stick so the few steps in the apartment was a bonus. There is a staircase to the entrance but in general he had less steps to climb than in a house. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. it is a very nice apartment and we really enjoyed our stay there.The owners are very friendly and easy to contact if required. We would definitely stay here again if in Lincoln and can highly recommend it.

Visiting from Essex on a break to experience the history of the city and see the Domesday book in the Castle. I couldn't have chosen a better accommodation to stay in with it's own parking, and excellent location, just a stroll to the older part of the City, and anywhere else for that matter. The apartment itself is more like a house, much bigger than I expected, and immaculate throughout, loved the coffee maker, welcome pack, sauna and spa bath, in fact just loved all of it. Mark and Helen are extremely helpful and obviously care greatly about their guests having a good experience, always on hand to help and advise. Also loved Lincoln, just wish I could have spent longer there. Thumbs up guys, hope to be back.

It has everything you need and more and with a fabulous spa bath and sauna it has been such a relaxing stay. If I could give the Danesgate Coach House 10 starts, I would! During my month-long business stay in Lincoln, I was lucky enough to be accommodated here and it was absolutely superb! This place had truly become a home away from home for me. The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure their guests have a comfortable (and fun) stay; from detailed instructions on how to operate every major appliance in the apartment, to a drawer full of recommendations on things to do and places to eat in and around Lincoln. The apartment was spacious, airy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Have I mentioned there is a Jacuzzi tub and Sauna in the apartment as well? Those were definitely my favourite amenities!
The apartment is perfectly located near High St., and was comfortable walking distance to the cathedral, castle, restaurants, grocery markets, cafe's, and a host of unique shops. It is well secured with gated entry, and has without doubt become my favourite place to stay in Lincoln. I look forward to coming back again!

The Coach House is Charming. What a delightful place to spend a few days. Its Location was perfect for visiting the Cathedral, Castle, Old Bishops Palace etc. They were all just a 5-10 minute stroll away. The walk to these attractions itself was an attraction! Walking up steep cobbled hills, with properties dating back to the 1100's. The modern Town centre was down the hill in the opposite direction. Again, just a few minutes walk. The property had every convenience you could wish for, and a few extras too! I didn't get the chance to use the sauna, but loved the spa bath with its different coloured lights. A real treat! if you are considering staying in Lincoln with a view to visit the old, historical area, you wont find a better place to stay. My husband and I had a wonderful time and will definitely return if we get the chance.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful city. So much to see and do. Hosts very helpful. Amazing view of Cathedral. Very clean and beds soooooo comfortable. Loved the sauna and whirlpool bath. Everything thought of including tea coffee and milk. Will definitely recommend.
