Eversleigh Woodland Lodges

Wonderful, place. Lovely staff who could not do enough for us during our stay this December. I will be returning in the summer with friends and family so we can make use of the lovely indoor pool! Exceptionally clean, modern and spacious accommodation. Everything you could need and perfectly located for sightseeing. We even got a bottle of wine on arrival which I didn't expect! Would highly recommend and thank you for all you did for us!

Had a lovely short break here really nice relaxing place with an indoor pool and games room with books an DVDs if a cosy night in is required and lots of channels on telly. Nice bottle of wine an Thornton chocolates on arrival. These lodges had everything you need and spotlessly clean an free wifi. Close as a base to go visiting different towns. An when you get back to your lodge you can relax out on the patio at the wooden table. Mark at reception talked me through how everything worked nothing was too much trouble. Lovely family run business I would highly recommend these lodges.

The staff were very friendly and weren't too invasive. The indoor pool and games room were some great touches! The lodges are exactly was you'd expect, very comfy! Its in a wonderful area with lots to do however i think some of it needs a bit of a tidy up. Maybe add some flowers to make it look nicer. Apart from that, a lovely stay :)

Rooms are clean and homely, however there aren't any towels anywhere in the cabin, they come at additional cost. Furthermore the cabins must be cleansed before leaving or you risk an additional cleaning charge. This includes striping the beds and taking all rubbish out to the external bins. I believe this could be included in the costs or should be mentioned before booking.

We arrived for a two night stay to be confronted with accommodation that was clearly in need of a major overhaul after years of neglect. The signage, the driveway, the swimming pool, the inside of the property all betrayed a complete lack of any attention to detail - peeling paintwork on the walls of the very unwelcoming looking pool, marks on the interior walls, old windows damp with condensation. To cap it all on entering the lodge we were met with a stench of sewage. We requested an alternative lodge which initially was odourless but by the morning the stench had returned. We decided to leave in the morning and were assured by a member of staff there that he shared our disgust and completely understood why we wanted to leave. He assured us the owners would be in touch to discuss a potential refund. We have heard absolutely nothing since and despite calling numerous times on the mobile number on their website they simply don't pick up. Polite emails are also ignored. Avoid!

It's such a nice getaway place. We visited the place with a group of friends we really had fun. The rooms are equipped with all that you would need. I highly recommend this place for family or a group of friends. Love it n will definitely come back again.

Went there for Easter holidays and enjoyed it very much with the forest walks and the pool. The games room is great, we played snooker and foosball.

Lots of space in the rooms but beds were very creaky and the walls could do with a paint job on the pool . Everything else was great.

Whilst could do with a little updating and TLC, look beyond and you will find a great family retreat. Swimming pool for yourself, games room and spacious lodges. The kind of place that should cost more, so book before they update and costs a lot more
