Great place for a really nice getaway !

Nice well equipped cottage in a nice quite location. Owners web page is confusing as it states sleeps 6 and it has 6 beds but they only take bookings for 4. Needs unused beds removing and web page details and photos up dating. Owner do not reply to emails. Apart from this I would have given it 5 stars.

Very attractive barn conversion cottages with excellent facilities; well-tended gardens for relaxed outdoor lounging; well equipped separate games room - and friendly sheep! In quiet and isolated farmland location , with quiet lanes and footpaths for very pleasant strolls. Very nice pub in Ireby village. Off the beaten track, but pleasant and easy motoring down to Bassenthwaite and Keswick or west to Buttermere and Cockermouth or north to the Solway coast. Cumbria and the North Lakes without the madding crowds.

BRILLIANT cottage. Spacious kitchen diner lounge. Very limited version of Sky TV but great views and games room!

Beautiful accommodation in a gorgeous countryside setting. Made very welcome by the owner. Welcomed with wine, chocolates and flowers. Highly recommend New Park Farm.
