Stayed here for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary absolutely fantastic!Swimming pool was great but the Hot tub was on another level!!!Tennis court needs a little makeover, fence was a bit tatty in places but good for a quick game.Snooker table-Great however a few rips in the fabric. Gym-Running machine didn't work so you could only use the weights or non-electrical equipment. The rooms were absolutely fantastic!!!Bathrooms need a little work but ok in places.Kitchen was a great old fashioned kitchen, the fire in the conservatory was beautiful and kept everyone warm on a wet and windy day.

The only downside to the house was that the remotes for the TV had no batteries inside them so we couldn't really watch TV and there was limited channels on the TV's.

The piano in the main living room was great if you had a little musician in the house😂! The dining room was stupendous great balcony looking down in the dining room.Just standing outside the front presented a beautiful view into the countryside. You can also see Chirk castle on the mountain top.

What a lovely weekend we had!!! Recommend to everyone who wants a visit for a few days🇬🇧

Lovely, big house, but shabby. For every amenity there is a 'but' (you have an en suite whirlpool bath BUT the jets don't work, there's a swimming pool BUT most of the lights are out and the structure is rotting, etc...). Needs a lot of maintenance before this becomes a luxury destination.

We did have a great time, but I doubt I'd go back.

This house is amazing. We went as a family celebrating our mum's 70th birthday party and we absolutely loved it. The pictures online dont do the place justice because its is absolutely stunnibg. We also got to meet the honour and he is so welcoming and amazing. We had a wonderful weekend and thank you for everything

Great house with all you could want! Good sized rooms, number of bathroom large kitchen, conservatory, large dinning room, games/ pool room, tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tub, the list goes on. The owners couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome

We paid a large deposit direct to owner 11 months before our holiday, a return visit, he promptly ``forgot`` our reservation. When we tried to confirm booking and pay balance, well within time, he told us it was no longer available as he had let it to someone else. Avoid this badly managed place which has little to offer on site and is particularly unsuitable for mobility impaired people
