Woodhow Farm Holiday Cottages

Stayed in Stable End Cottage. It was a beautiful, cozily decorated cottage and was large enough for 6 people. You can see the farm animals and the owners of the farm even gave us some free eggs. The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us suggestions for things to do in the area and always stopped to chat when we saw them. You can walk to the lake in about 5 minutes and there are plenty of footpaths to explore just outside of the farm and two nice pubs in Nether Wasdale.

The cottage is located in the most amazing setting within the lakes, which just adds to the relaxation of your stay. Everything right on your doorstep to go out and explore. The property itself is beautiful and oozes homely cottage vibes, everything is well maintained, and the log burner was a godsend. The owners were brilliant and everybit kind, thank you.

Perfect location and the most hospitable hosts. We had a short but sweet visit in December 2021, the owners catered for us and made us so comfortable during our short time there, constantly going out of their way to do everything they possibly could for us. Really cannot recommend this beautiful little farm enough.

The most tranquil and idyllic farmhouse and cottages. In the beautiful setting of Nether Wasdale, this farm is perfect in every way. The owners were so tentative to us as a group and did everything they possibly could to make the trip even more memorable. Really cannot recommend Woodhow farm enough.

A perfect holiday cottage, so comfortable, clean and well thought through, the complimentary welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Staying on a working farm was just a delight too. Will definitely be trying to stay here again.

Our favourite place to visit! The cottage is so comfortable and well equipped, and there are great walks close by, the lake is a short walk away. Lots of nature nearby to watch as well. The owners are really lovely people and have even let the kids feed the animals, and also leave us a welcome basket of goodies! Can’t wait to be back - thank you x

Spotlessly clean cottage, warm and cosy. Fantastic hosts. Quiet location with easy access to Wast Water and Wasdale Head. Walks from the location. Good food available in Nether Wasdale if you don't want to cook.

Amazing home from home. Sally-Anne and David made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble even though they were really busy on the farm.Sad to be leaving.
