Couple without children. Stunning place. Small, intimate and peaceful. The lodge itself is really beautiful. We had number 27 which is also very private on the decking area. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early but really wanted to stay. Would highly recommend.

My Husband and I have just returned from a 4 day break here at Canterbury Reach. We both cannot wait to return hopefully towards the end of the year. Its our 1st time visiting here and we were given such a warm welcome. We stayed in the Finglesham and it was just perfect for us. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The area is very quiet, so we managed to get some great lie ins. Massive bath, and a separate shower, with a his & hers sink. Very big double bed, that was a little firm, but we still managed a great night's sleep. Everything is supplied, crockery, pots, pans and utensils and you can hire out bbq's. For those that don't want to cook there is a great little pub that's just re opened under new management within walking distance and a fantastic cafe up at the garden centre which serves up a great breakfast, also within walking distance. Dogs are welcome and there are some lovely walks around the area. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to just escape the hum drum of everyday. Check the website regularly for deals. We loved it and can't wait to return.

This park is great for a quiet and relaxing break we spent a week in lodge 3 with our dog. The lodge was well equipped and spacious the terrace was lovely and had the sun from morning til night . The staff were friendly efficient and very professional and would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for my son's 6th birthday celebration. The lodge was clean and tidy. The location is also great. Short drive from the city town. The lodge has also wifi so its very useful when you have kids. The staff were also kind. Its a lovely place to stay. Looking forward to book again in darwins escapes. Highly recomemded.

Lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern lodge with nice attention to detail. Lovely little extras provided ( toiletries, cleaning supplies, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits). Key comes in a cute case that you can then keep and 2 cute little ducks to take home. Very comfortable and warm. Peaceful and lots of wildlife to see. We will come back.
