Good "stop off" point on the South Downs Way. Lovely cup of tea.

Cute self-catering holiday cottage with all basic amenities. Ideal for couple with/out a dog, but very small and therefore rather cramped for family of four for any extended period of time. Sat. nav. needed to find location easily and distance from car to entrance can get very muddy in wet weather, so welly boots advised. Within easy reach of South coast and many local attractions, including some delightful eateries. Serves well as a place to sleep and have breakfast, but rather bleak if forced to remain indoors due to bad weather. Car or other personal transport essential to explore locally or to collect food and other supplies. Not the cheapest accommodation available in the area, but has a certain appeal if you want peace and quiet well off the usual beaten track.
