Wrea Head Country Cottages

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. We knew the pool could not be open due to covid restrictions but it didn't impact on our stay. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we could need (and more). Very comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep. The play area for kids was fab and our little dog loved running around the grounds. Carl and Lauren made us feel very welcome and they even left a surprise birthday balloon for our daughter, which was a lovely touch. The setting was idyllic and we will most definitely be back.

Excellent location, facilities and accommodation. Enjoyed use of the private indoor pool & hot tub as well as wonderfully comfortable beds. Thoroughly recommend and well priced.

Wow, just wow. We have just got back from the most relaxing stay here for 5 nights in the stable cottage. Everything was immaculate. My toddler stayed in bed with us & the bed was so so comfy and a great size! Just perfect! Watched the sun rise in the morning - can see the sea and castle in the distance from the cottages. My toddler enjoyed running around the grass area & had a go on the swing and play area. We didn’t get chance to go swimming as he was a bit under the weather but just rebooked again for next year in a bigger cottage so hopefully get to go. Also so close to everything including a pharmacy which was much needed as my toddler ended up needing antibiotics! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Just returned from Wrea Head Country Cottages where we rented 2 cottages for family members. The whole place is excellent. The cottages are lovely and surrounded by beautiful views. We all made good use of the swimming pool and hot tub which are a brilliant facility. My grandchildren thought the pool and hot tub were the best part of the holiday!

Lovely cottage with everything needed for a weekend stay. The pool was fantastic and easy to book a slot with a generous time allowance so the session didn't feel rushed at all. Great play area for the kids which if we had visited in the summer we would have used a lot more.
Lovely owners who were really accommodating when we had a dates issue.
Definitely think we will be back.

We have visited annually since 2016 (including our honeymoon) and we love it, Carl and Lauren have put a lot into the site and always make our visits special. Pool is great too. We will hopefully continue to visit annually and are already looking forward to next year!

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!! Would highly recommend to all. We as a family have just returned from a fantastic week at the cottages. We have had the best time ever. We asked our 5 year old what his best part of the holiday was and he said swimming in the pool, going in the hot tub and playing with George. We stayed in woodland. It was superb, beautiful furnished to a very high standard and had everything you needed . Lauren and Carl went above and beyond with everything. Anything you needed and they would be there, nothing was too much trouble. The personal touches just made it even more extra special too. So thank you for everything and we will definitely back again, can't wait to see you all again. We are already looking at when we can book again.
