Garden Lodge & Old College Glamping

We had a lovely stay at the Garden lodge last week. The accomodation is perfect for our group of 4 couples with 2 young children and 2 dogs. The main space was very social, rooms were confortable, garden was a great size and secure and the hot tub was amazing! The host was very welcoming, she kindly accpected and put away our shopping delivery before we arrived and was very firendly and helpful.

We would definitly recommend others to stay too!

We booked the Garden Lodge as a surprise for my dads 70th and we were not disappointed. We had a great time, the swimming pool and hot tub were amazing. Kids had a blast. Lots of things to do in the local area, found some great dog walks to go on. The Acle Bridge Inn was very welcoming and dog friendly. Food was awesome too. We have just had the most relaxing week in the Garden Lodge! The lodge is beautiful through out and so clean.There’s everything you need the owners have thought of everything.The pool and hot tub are fabulous! My Grandchildren and Daughter loved them! The grounds it’s surrounded in are amazing! Couldn’t fault the place it was perfect! Great location too near to shops.Would highly recommend staying here you won’t be disappointed.Thank you Rachael and Andy for making us so welcome 😊

Liked: Private field with only 2 pitches, private toilet and shower, close to lots of attractions. Helpful and friendly owners.

Disliked: Close to the A47 so noisier than I had hoped.

Beautiful place to stay. 3 bathrooms are very convenient for bigger groups. Lovely bath tab with Bluetooth. Very clean, everything is looking like new. Due to A47 next to it, no chance for nice walkies around and no access to shops without a car. One member of my family had a fall in the garden as there was a hole, but it had been dealt ok, hole was covered the next day. Medical kit on site. I definitely recommend it for family holidays even in the winter.

Just had our second visit to the garden lodge.
Very large house all on one floor. Very spacious. Table is huge and great open plan living area. Hot tub is lovely.
Garden is brilliant for the kids. Location couldn’t be better for days out. Nice little walk to local
Church and woods. We had a food delivery and everything was put away when we arrived which was fantastic service.

I wanted a special treat for my family and this did not disappoint! The pool and hot tub were welcome after days out and the grounds were extensive allowing children a safe area to play. The premises were spotless on arrival and the beds comfortable. A problem with one of the light switches was dealt with within an hour. Excellent location for the Broads and coast.

Just finished a stay in the newly opened glamping Bell tent , 3 adults for 4 days (3 nights). Such a fantastic experience! The owners Rachael and Andy are lovely people and have thought of everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable stay. The new facilities for camping (the pod and Bell tent) are set in a spacious field area with access to a very well equipped outdoor kitchen complete with pizza oven, gas stove and sink. You also have the option of having a fire pit near to your tent which Andy is able to help you set up. The toilet/shower facilities comprise of a very well thought out converted horsebox which houses a toilet, sink and shower which is modern with plenty of space. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning as soon as possible! Thank you so much to Rachael and Andy who have been so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.
