amazingly authentic rural experience. everything available from linens to kitchen tools and essential supplies. no internet connection and very low signal, be aware of that, i personally liked being disconnected from the digital world but maybe people who need to check messages or get phonecalls daily might prefer another solution

Lovely cottage. Great setting - only a short walk to the river. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The pub next door is very friendly and serves great wood fired pizzas on Thursday nights. The only down side to the cottage is the outside seating area is tiny with no view so you can't sit in the sun with a G&T. The cottage is better for a winter retreat.
