Chelfham Barton Manor

This a stunning house set in lovely countryside and close to great beaches and coastline for breathtaking walks. Although a spacious house, it’s cosy and homely. The rooms are well laid out with well thought out decor and furniture. Each bedroom has its own colour scheme with the option of double or single beds so great for groups and retreats. The sitting room and snug have log burners so lovely for a winter break but likewise a large terrace facing south for those summer evenings. Simply gorgeous - will definitely stay there again

A beautiful kitchen with the most incredible space !
Lots of space for us all to relax independently.
My bedroom was stunning , the bed beyond comfortable, pretty , elegant, peaceful and more .
The bathroom was huge and again gorgeous!!!
This was my first residential yoga retreat and yes I am booked for the next !!!

We spent a magical Christmas here. There were 10 of us and there was ample room. All the rooms are wonderfully decorated each one with its own theme. The manor house is nestled in beautiful countryside with rolling green hills. A quiet retreat in a very busy world. The proximity to the ocean is a real bonus with miles of places to walk and neat little coffee shops near by. I hope to visit this awesome home again soon.

I spent a weekend at Chelfham Barton Manor on a Yoga retreat this year (Feb 2019). The house was beautiful and the interior had been impeccably decorated. The house was very warm and cosy, with lit fires and underfloor heating, which was perfect as it was a stormy weekend. Sadly I didn't spend much time outside but the views from the house were lovely. I only wish I could have stayed for longer and explored more.

Amazing house, so stylish and comfortable. We had the most amazing family gathering here and cooked a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The grounds are stunning and they have an amazing hot tub. Can’t wait to go back.

This farmhouse is an idiilic setting for a prefect getaway. We had the most magical time at Chelfham Barton Manor. The venue is large and spacious with lots of places to relax, chill and read in front of the fire. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, its well thought out and becomes the social hub of the house. Each bedroom's interior is designed with a different colour and theme but each as beautiful as the next. The views from the farmhouse are insane and the yoga deck is large and and very well positioned over looking rolling hills. Lots of country and costal walks nearby. Ticks all the boxes and we'll most definitely be back again

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the weekend retreat at Chelfham Manor.
The setting was stunning, relaxing and everything was to a very high standard.
As this was my first experience of a retreat, I hope it hasn’t spoiled me as to what I might expect if I go, anywhere else .
I would 100% recommend to anyone to experience this wonderful positive and relaxing place in addition to the brilliant yoga instruction and practice from Veronique.

Wonderful stay with our young family. The house is amazing (both inside and out) and set in the most beautiful countryside. Very stylish and done with great taste, but also very cosy and had everything we needed. Short drive to Barnstaple and around 30 minutes to beaches, perfect location. Cannot rate this place highly enough!
