Back Tor Farm

Just came back from a stay at the Nook, lovely place! We really enjoyed our stay, very easy to unwind there. The cottage was really nice and Neil and Naomi are excellent hosts. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and it's an ideal base for walking in the Peak District. Highly recommended!

An absolute gem cottage. We stayed in the Nook. Location - perfect. So quiet. Great for jumping out of bed and yomping to the top of the great ridge which runs to Mam Tor. Accommodation - perfect. Big fluffy beds with Egyptian cotton sheets. Super warm. Kitchen and bathroom to die for. Plus TV with lots of apps. Super fast internet. View from each window is breathtaking. Everything is polished with quality. Neil and Naomi are wonderful hosts. Attentive and hospitable. Just wonderful. No wonder most of the visitor comments say they don’t want to leave. Us included.

Absolutely perfect, immaculate, warm, comfortable, clean, warm, well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural location with walks all around. Warm, friendly, helpful welcome from Neil and Naomi. Best cottage we have stayed in during the past 13 years.

Wonderful, cosy cottage. Fabulous place to stay for walking in the Peaks with the dog. Spotlessly clean and fresh and tastefully decorated, with comfy beds, log burner & well equipped kitchen. Warm welcome from the owners, too. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Thank you Neil and Naomi for a fantastic week in The Cowshed. It is one of the most fabulously appointed self catering cottages we have stayed in; there is such amazing attention to detail.Location and views are sublime. First time holidaying with Oscar, (our 4yr old Labrador) and he absolutely loved it. Thanks again Neil and Naomi just what we all needed post lockdown.

The Cowshed was a truely a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation itself was beautiful, cosy and felt like home in no time. The attention to detail was faultless, with a well equipped kitchen that you could cook anything in (we did a Chirstmas Dinner!). Edale is special to us, especially Mam Tor and the fact we are literally on the side of it was perfect. We enjoyed the Christmas Eve walk up Mam Tor and views that came with it. We loved sitting in the lounge (which was so beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations) with the log burner going and a view of Edale out the window, it was picturesque to say the least. It was the perfect place to spend our Christmassy honeymoon. We have stayed at Back Tor Farm before, in The Nook, and we would highly recommend both accommodations. Thank you Naomi and Neil for opening up your lovely properties and farm for us to stay in. We would highly recommend Back Tor Farm! We cannot wait to return.

We stayed in The Nook for a long weekend just before Christmas and it was absolutely superb! The location alone is stunning but when you put that alongside the immaculate finish and cosy feel of the accommodation, it's difficult to imagine anyone who wouldn't want to stay here. The hosts Naomi and Neil were really pleasant and welcoming as well as having great communication before arrival. 5 stars all round!
