Lovely little cottage for a weekend away. There is a usable kitchen, two joined bedrooms and a small but serviceable bathroom (the bath is a bit narrow). The woodfire in the front room is a treat when the weather is cold. Make toast with it if you can. The owners are very welcoming and left us a nice basket of food for breakfast.
The cottage is on a road, it isn't very busy, but you do get a bit of traffic noise. Close to Snape where there is a good couple of pubs. The cottage is also close to several footpaths, Aldebrough is about 5 mile walk away.

Great break had in this little cottage. Well thought out use if every space. Had a lovely walk through the woods straight from the property. There was a super farm shop just up the road too.

Cissy’s cottage is idyllic, warm and cosy.
Bev and Martin (the owners) provided a wonderful welcome hamper that meant we didn’t need to visit any shops for supplies prior to arrival.
We felt relaxed as soon as we entered the front door and it’s a great base for getting around Aldeburgh, Snape and Thorpeness. If we’d been staying longer - a trip to Southwold would have been on the cards too.
We also spent a lovely day out at RSPB Minsmere.
We absolutely loved our two night stay and would highly recommend the cottage. We will definitely return in the future.
