Low Costa Mill Cottages

Spent a week here, and after it being rearranged a couple of times due to COVId, the wait was well worth it. Self catering cottages that are in full working order and are great for families and couples. There is also a swimming pool that is on a rota basis for the cottages which worked very well. Would recommend it for anyone wanting a break away.

Stayed for a long weekend. The location is perfect with the coast and the Yorkshire Moors that are near by. The accommodation and amenities were spot on especially for children. The pool and fully equipped playground are exceptional with small walks in the grounds that have pond's(on our visit the frogs and toads was really in abundance). The hosts are really friendly and will try to accommodate anything you need.

This place is just breath taking. We booked three cottages for my mams 50th and we had such an amazing time. Beautiful grounds with only a short walk to Pickering. Cottages are clean and spacious. Great for couples and families.

We loved our holiday at Low Costa Mill. Such a beautiful setting with lovely, cosy cottage. Private use of pool with allocated sessions was great for us as a family and the play area was well equipped. The grounds were so well kept and the area quiet and peaceful.
We enjoyed having the animals on site so close especially the goats - the kids were delighted to learn all their names and the stable cat was very friendly.
Lots to do nearby such as Flamingo land, Whitby, Scarborough, Dalby Forrest and York.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful.
Would recommend for a great holiday.

Excellent location, set-up and service. I would certainly recommend Low Costa Mill for anyone looking to organise a large family holiday. The pool is excellent. Thank you for the great weekend!

This place is a gem. This is our 3rd stay here and I would recommend it to anyone. Tracy & Dave are so helpful & the accommodation is very well equiped and very clean. The grounds are extremely well maintained even the paddock reserved for dogs is like a bowling green. There are also children's area and a swimming pool. Covid precautions are also in place where needed. Because this is a dog friendly place it makes it 110% or 5 star for us. Its also peaceful with beautiful surroundings, in a rural setting. Pickering is a short drive away or you could walk if preferred. Well done Tracy & Dave job well done see you again next time.

As a getaway wk end it's ok, great accommodation but some hot water issues. We used it to have a family get together with our Sottish side of the family. So there was plenty of room for around 20 of us, mostly 2 bedroom chalets and 1 x 4 bedrooms with a large enough lounge upstairs to accommodate us all celebrating together. Lots for the children, from a swimming pool to woodland walks and a play area. Pickering town is only 10 mins away for your shopping and take aways.

Unbelievably nice little place nestled in the countryside a 5 minute drive, or 30 minute walk from Pickering. Place was immaculate, from the lovely cottage we had to the grounds and gardens to the Dog Paddock which our wee dog loved to go chase his ball. The cottage itself had everything you would need and was spotless. The little garden area with seats and a table got the sun most of the day and was a great place to sit and relax with a drink or 3. There is a nice playpark for kids and the swimming pool is a nice addition, though we were out most of the time and never used it as much. Tracy and Dave the owners were very friendly and helpful, giving us handy pointers for the surrounding area. All in all the whole place is a gem and whether you are there as a couple or for a family break you won't be disappointed. 11 out of 10.
