We love staying in the Stables! Everything 'ticks the box' for us: the comfort, character, cleanliness, style and position in Southwell. It feels like home - a very comfortable and spotlessly clean home! Becky the owner is so welcoming and helpful. Southwell is an interesting and historic place, especially the Minster and there are plenty of sites to visit nearby. We've done three visits so far and we hope not too long before the next.

What a brilliant 5 day stay in Southwell. The Stables was more than I expected; location right in the heart of the village, every amenity you could think of available in the accommodation - a true home away from home. We will certainly be back again. Thanks Becky for making our time perfect

This was our third visit to this lovely cottage. It is always scrupulously clean and inviting. There is so much space to relax and we are always given a warm welcome. And what a very convenient location! We shall definitely return.

Ideally placed, everything needed was provided and no complaints other than that the wifi is concentrated at the lounge end of the house and very weak in the kitchen area. However Becky thanked us for the info and said she would get it "boosted". We will hopefully stay here if we get to Southwell again.

Lovely place to stay. Comfortable, spacious and very clean. Had everything needed for a great stay and off street parking space. Lovely host. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The Stables is extremely well furnished and equipped. Becky has added lots of personal touches and gave us a really warm welcome. To call it an apartment doesn't do it justice as it is so spacious. The bed is super comfy as are the big sofas. It is so near to the centre of Southwell with lovely shops and places to eat, yet it is tucked away and quiet. Highly recommended.

An absolutely lovely place to stay. Southwell is a beautiful town with the Minster and workhouse just being two wonderful things to attract you, and this cottage is somehow both in the heart of it all near the high street, and yet really peaceful. It's well decorated and clean, it has all the stocks and supplies you might need. The host had left some milk and biscuits etc for us which was lovey. The shower was hot and powerful. The crockery was high quality. There are nice sofas and a big TV and a dining table, with movies and games and cds and a music system. I'd really recommend it.

Unique, characterful, quality accommodation, in a great central (yet quiet) location in beautiful Southwell.
