The lodge itself was finished really well and it was warm and welcoming on arrival.
The view overlooking the alpacas and surrounding fields was lovely and the position of the lodges relative to each other meant they felt really private. The hot tub was a perfect temperature, a great size and super clean.
Sarah was a lovely host and allowed our wee boy to feed some of the animals.
The kids multiple playparks were all in great condition and kept our 5 year old busy. The pool table/foozball/table tennis was a nice touch and again well maintained.
All in all we would recommend it to friends and we are looking for an excuse to visit again already!

Very relaxing, quiet, clean,lovely location. Great for kids.play areas, games and animals. Perfect for a long weekend.everything you need in the lodges.

Overall it was ok. I had high hopes and left quite disappointed. The lodge itself was very worn - the old brown manky carpet in the bedrooms was very off putting, should be hard flooring from hygiene point of view. The WIFI did not work at all - very disappointing as the lodge advertised this as part of the stay. The hot tub was the best part of the stay. I wouldn’t return unfortunately - I’d prefer to be closer to city life.

Lovely, spacious, quiet, well organised and thoughtful site. Nice warm welcome and good value... Highly recommended.... Great location a mile or so from Pickering. Bonus having the hot tub, football pitch and games room....

Stayed at Baker Stakes holiday lodges. We loved our stay and my Mother wanted to stay longer. Would love to stay again. All very peaceful and the hot tub was excellent. Thank you.

This has bee our 5th or 6th stay here it's perfect in all respects for a relaxing break. The lodges are always clean and everything works as it should, the team on site are always welcoming courteous. Since our first visit the TV, wifi and dishwasher have all been upgraded indicating the continuous improvement experienced. Yes we gush about this place for good reason and again we will be back, thank you.

Wonderful break. We had a 2 bedroom lodge with a hot tub. Lodge is amazingly done out, hot tub was amazing. Steve and his wife are extremely friendly. Lovely quiet location, easy to relax and unwind. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Absolutely perfect stay, family and dog friendly, great friendly welcome and the perfect location for a family break with 2 parks within eyesight of most lodges, pool table, ping pong and football table, football pitch and paddocks with animals to explore.
