Friendly welcome to lovely accommodation in a stunning location. Just back from a three night stay and would definitely come back. Beautiful Scandinavian style chalet with surrounding land which was perfect for a stay with the dogs. Lovely and warm with gas heating. Amazing countryside and walks just on the doorstep. Would highly recommend a visit.

Spent 4 nights here and absolutely loved it. It is a beautiful haven, my daughters aged 13 and 10 thoroughly enjoyed it too. Owner was friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed.

My partner & I and my mother and dog stayed here for 5 nights. From the moment we arrived to the second we left we enjoyed everything. Relaxing quite & peaceful.Lodge was perfect, had everything you needed and more. The surrounding area was excellent for dog & us. Sutton Bank & White Horse area brilliant walks. Stayed here in March for a weekend with my partner and dog. It was so relaxing. I felt like I was staying in the middle of a park. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was clean and had lovely views onto the gardens. The owner was very friendly. Very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic place lovely and warm welcome. Living accommodation is very nice. Dogs welcome. Perfect place for a nice break. Plenty of wildlife just out side your door. Not a place for a party week just pure relaxation. Local town of thirsk has everything you need and so easy to find. Sutton bank just a few miles down the road for great walking we will be coming back it was worth the 5 hr drive to get here.

Well equipped chalets with all you need for a getaway, lovely pleasant welcome and a nice bottle of fresh milk on arrival. Only let down was the sofas are uncomfortable along with the bed being too soft and too short, a problem I find at most establishments being 6' 3'' an issue which on a standard divan is ok but wooden frames become a nemesis for a good night's sleep
