Went here to have a quiet christmas, it was a lovely little place with a good multi fuel burner and central heating so we were very cosy plus a lovely thick duck down quilt on the bed. It was easy to cook christmas dinner as the kitchen was really well equiped. The little back yard backs onto a pretty mill pond. It was really damp n rainy so we only had one little walk along side the pond towards the mill. But we had a great christmas getaway there

Had a good week break at this cottage, it is basic but reasonably clean they allow dogs . If I had to make a complaint it would be the shower is poor and the cottage is drafty but that's not the end of the world . Had some great walks etc

We really enjoyed our stay and have already re booked for next year. On arrival we were greeted by a roaring log fire which was so welcoming after a long journey. The cottage is really close to the local village and we explored various walking routes throughout the week although it was just as nice to stay inside some afternoons as we really felt at home. The views were lovely and the furnishings were really comfortable. I honestly couldn't fault one thing.
