Nana Duck's Cottage

We've not long returned from a 5 night stay at Nana Duck's. A beautiful cottage in the lovely market town of Thirsk. Plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs right on your doorstep, all selling their delicious wares. Walks a plenty either locally, on the dales, moors or seaside. Absolutely loved our stay and the cute welcome packs left for us ❤️❤️ Thanks for having us Laura and Neil!

Had a lovely short break at Nana Nooks Duck Cottage
Cottage very clean with modern facilities.
Are is absolutely spot on. Lovely walks nearby for taking the dog for a walk.
Pubs, cafes ans shops all nearby that all allow dogs in.
Had a day trip to Knaresborough which was also very dog friendly.

Laura was really helpful with the booking and information regarding the cottage.

Second stay at this lovely holiday cottage . Very well equipped and to a high standard. Perfect central location making dining out with a drink or two possible. Thirsk is a lovely market town with lots to see and do, but also the benefit of being within easy driving distance to lots of other fun places.

Stayed in a neighbouring house. Lovely grassed area at the front of the house with a bench where you can sit and feed the ducks. Just a short walk into the town which is full of independent shops.

Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas 2021. The house has everything needed and added extras to help with having dogs are brilliant such as a hose pipe to wash off and the washing machine!
Plenty of space, lovely and warm. Brilliant welcome package and beautiful decorated.

We spent 7 nights here, and cannot praise it more highly (I'd give six stars if I could). A beautiful mews cottage, very tastefully modernised but keeping the charm and character of the original building. The bedrooms are roomy and we had very comfortable nights sleeps. Ideal location next to the river, but just a minutes walk to the market square. Many pubs and restaurants within a short walk. The neighbours are lovely, very chatty and welcoming. We will definitely be back.
