This place is a hidden gem in Snowdonia! Mrs Jones has such a cute bunkhouse; my husband and I came here for the bank holiday weekend and it had everything we needed: kitchen, shower, drying room, even a dining and seating area. The underfloor heating was great too! Mrs Jones herself was very accommodating given we arrived really late, and offered suggestions for hikes too. Would definitely recommend this place for small groups, families and couples!

We had an amazing time at the Bunkhouse. Perfect location right by the magical Welsh rainforest Ceunant Llennyrch. Our hosts were very knowledgeable of the area, telling us about local lichen and mosses as well as hidden spots in the forest to visit, including beautiful waterfalls and wading pools in the river nearby. They were incredibly friendly and generous as well, offering us a drive to and from the nearest bus stop. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet; Maentwrog is not too far (about 25 minutes), where we grabbed drinks and food at The Grapes. Be sure to bring food along with you, though, as there are no shops nearby, or be prepared to drive to Penrhyndeudraeth. There are 4 bunk beds in the bedroom and a cozy couch in the living room, and the heated floor kept us nice and toasty in the evenings. Missing it already, and we hope to stay again really soon!

This is simply too nice for a bunkhouse. Huge props to the host, she was wonderful and this is perfect for all groups.
