Arrived here with 3 little kids on a rainy Sunday afternoon but as soon as we stepped into this newly converted barn we quickly forgot about the weather outside. The barn has been lovingly converted by the owner Gary into this beautiful cosy cottage keeping some of the original distinct features of the barn. The home is very eco friendly and plenty of daylight pouring in from the patios and the plenty skylights. For plane spotters and hobiyists this house is the perfect location as it sits right on the Mach Loop where you will see different types of RAF planes fly through the valley. From the cottage you could walk up to the lovely orchards that the owners have planted, over 200 trees of 15 different species of apples, including some other berries. There is a massive lawn with a small stream that the kids could play, or you can eat al fresco in the garden surrounded by the lovely mountains and pine trees. All amenities are within a short driving distance and plenty of attractions for the kids to keep them busy all within 20 - 30 minutes drive. Some beautiful walks in the area for all ages. All in all, excellent value for money and I can't wait to come back again in the future. In the meantime we are going to make the most out of this visit whilst we are still here.

We arrived on a very sunny Saturday, my parents had been greeted and shown around the previous day by Gary who they said seemed nice enough and was just next door if we needed anything, we did need a highchair so it was requested and brought round shortly later.

The property had stunning views across the valley and was located in a place where every hour or so RAF fighter jets would fly right next to the house, which was an amazing sight.

Inside the property there was a large kitchen space, with a 6 seat dining table, washing machine, hob, kettle and toaster, only negative was that the fridge/freezer was quite small for 6 people.
The living room was spacious enough with plenty of seating for everyone, there was a log burner in the corner which we didn't need to use as it was 30 degree heat the whole week we were there. Both sofas also folded out to be used as double beds.
The upstairs bedrooms were simple enough, with beds to sleep and some storage space to keep clothes in, maybe the little room could do with some drawers to put clothes in to, but the double room had a large wardrobe.
There was lots of exploring to do around on the property grounds, with a large mowed lawn, gazebo and firpit for guest use. At the bottom of the lawn was a little stream that my two children enjoyed splashing in. It's worth a note that the lawn and stream are not fenced off so we were very cautious as both children were under 3.

Positives
Large interior of property and spacious outdoor areas to enjoy.
Close to local pub Red lion which did amazing food
Close to hotpots such as Mawddach trail and lake Vyrmy

Negatives
Small fridge freezer
More storage space needed for clothes
Maybe some fences for garden

All in all if I was in the area again, I would definatly look at staying here.
