This is a great place to go for a holiday. The West Beacon Brecon is closeby. There are towns nearby but enough far away for this cottage to be isolated and disconnected from the world. Marianne and Jim are lovely hosts and they have thought of everything in the cottage that you might need. We were welcomed with Welsh cakes and a bottle of wine, there are pots and pans and a necessities kit for the ladies, there is a first aid kit, torch, a sewing kit for those pesky tears and even a fire extinguisher. There is a file with manuals for every appliance in the cottage and it contains a washer drier as well as a microwave. There are DVDs ti watch when you don't want to step out and even conveniently located bookshelf near the bed upstairs.
The rear porch is a wonderful place to sit and have your morning tea or just watch the birds come and feed. The best part is the huge collection of brochures abut surrounding places of interest/castles etc and a folder dedicated to walks. It is the perfect location if one is going on a holiday for a week and wants to explore all of South wales as no place is more than 90 minutes drive away. But I would recommend driving or walking along the lesser, internal, single track roads around the place, which as very picturesque.

Beautiful Cottage situated in the beautiful Carmarthenshire area. Peaceful location, good area for visiting many countryside and coastal places of interest.
