Recently had a mid week break here for my husband's 60th Birthday.
We were greeted by the very friendly & helpful owner, Mr Jenkins, who only lives down the road.
It is a lovely spacious property set in the beautiful Welsh valleys which more than ample car spaces.
The only thing which was a bit of a nuisance was the squeaky floor boards, which were annoying if we were trying to get the children asleep, as the bedrooms are on the ground floor. I dont think this would affect people without children though as they would be out & about anyway.
Very quiet area with stunning views. They have a kiddy area with a trampoline & swings, although i think that area could be improved, especially for infants.
I'm sure that will be on their list of things to do though.
Hot tub was very relaxing, looking out at the stunning views with falcons flying around.
It would be a place I would definately recommend, if you want that peace & tranquillity but, you can still get about if you want to.
I would imagine you could have lovely walks to.
We had a rainy week & enjoyed it, so if you get the weather it would be an extra bonus!

Amazing place to stay, lovely people, the most incredible views, a friendly cat and a couple of lovely horses. Lots to keep you occupied, everything you need for a perfect holiday.

A fantastic barn conversion in a truly beautiful place. A great way to celebrate a 30th with friends. It was very snowy which made sitting in the hot tub all the better.

The accommodation was in poor repair and not cleaned adequately on arrival. Many maintenance issues meant that this was not good value for money. The owners were not present and elderly relatives next door apologised for the poor condition of the property. The area is ideal for a family holiday with child friendly attractions and eateries within an easy drive and the location of the barn provides stunning views amidst peaceful rural surroundings. This property desperately needs some TLC!

Beautiful view from the property and a really nice location, unfortunately spoiled by the state of the accommodation. The property was not cleaned very well, there were a lot of maintenance issues which have not been addressed such as multiple lightbulbs not working, broken side door and difficult to lock front door. The shower drains were getting blocked after we showered and left a horrible smell in the bathroom after being used. We had to clean up dog mess on arrival as neighbour’s dogs squeeze under the fence and kept using the garden their toilet. There was no hot water on our last day meaning that we couldn’t shower before heading home.
