Wellstone Cottages

Stayed in Ivy Cottage for two nights - it easily achieves a five star rating. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and sits in a stunning location. The hot tub was clean, large and we also had impressive views of the stars due to no surrounding light pollution. The owners are attentive when needed. The cottage is situated just 25 minutes from Cardigan and it’s neighbouring beach Poppit sands. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We hosted a weekend wellness retreat at Wellstone Cottages and it exceeded all expectations! The grounds are absolutely magical and there was plenty of space for 22 of us. We enjoyed hosting Al fresco yoga, Pilates and dinners at Wellstone. Would highly recommend staying here and I’m sure we will be back to host another retreat soon!

Unfortunately, our original holiday home had double booked our party of 8. However, after a quick search we came across Wellstone Cottages…

Dan was extremely accommodating from the first message to see if the cottage was still available & throughout our stay.

What can we say, other than what a beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location!! The children (aged 4 - 12) thoroughly enjoyed themselves just as much as the adults!

The one thing the children were disappointed by was the weather on our last morning as they wanted to feed the animals with Les & say goodbye to the alpacas!

Dan & Les, our weekend with you will stay with us for a very long time to come!

We had a fantastic stay at Wellstone Cottages. The setting is gorgeous and the accommodation very comfortable. Children and adults alike enjoyed feeding the animals. We were also lucky with the weather so had the chance for a few dips in the hot tub. The owners are also onsite and were very quick to fix the couple of small issues we had with the facilities. Would highly recommend!

My sister booked a surprise hen weekend for me here. It was perfect for a bunch of (mostly) 30 something (mostly) well behaved ladies looking for a relaxing break away from the norm! The setting was just gorgeous with beautiful gardens and surrounding lands, a hot tub and animals onsite! Chickens, geese, goats, cats and alpacas...an animal lovers dream location for a getaway! Many thanks go to the owners who were just lovely! The house itself was so beautiful and comfortable and well maintained. We had a minor issue with the hot water but it didn't spoil anything and all the other features of the place made up for this one little thing. I give Wellstone Cottages 5 stars because overall it was excellent. My hens and I all agreed we would happily return for another ladies weekend away...a henniversary maybe?! :)

Excellent surroundings with plenty of adorable animals. The house is well-equipped and has both modern and traditional architecture. My friends and I had a very enjoyable day at Jasmine House. The hot tub was really relaxing after a day out on the Pembroke Channel. Will visit again in the future.

Lovely secluded campsite in Pembrokeshire. We went at the end of July and there was only 1 other tent there at the time! This was perfect for looking for a quiet get away. The bathroom facilities were very clean and worked well, and they provided inexpensive wood and fire pits to start a camp fire. Was close to the town Crymych which was where we found some beautiful hiking spots.

Just home after a short holiday, staying in Ivy Cottage. The cottage was excellent, really comfy, simply but tastefully decorated. Unlike many cottages that say they are well equipped, Ivy Cottage truly was - I tend to cook so having half decent tools is a big thumbs up. There were loads of little touches to make the stay comfortable and the best welcome pack ever which was much appreciated.

The surroundings are stunning and relaxing and despite inclement weather we did get to relax on the hot tub one evening.

I would definitely recommend, and hopefully visit again in the future.
