The Chamois Mountaineering Centre

Fantastic views, well equipped base for mountain activities. Modern kitchen will cater for groups up to 45 in number. Popular with universities and other mountaineering clubs. Excellent drying room and central heating in winter.

Great location for getting out in the hills. The centre has a well equipped kitchen, lots of space to relax in the lounge and good drying facilities for outdoor gear. Bunk bed dorms and good bathroom facilities. I have spent many a happy holiday here and highly recommend it.

I've visited the CHAmois Mountaineering Centre for over thirty years and have always enjoyed my time there. The center is well-run, super clean and hygienic and perfect for families or more focused groups. Based close enough to Snowdon to use as a starting point I wouldn't hesitate to to recommend a stay.

An excellent facility in an ideal location for accessing all that Snowdonia has to offer. Always warm, clean and well maintained, it's a joy to return to after a hard day's adventure. The bunkroom arrangements accommodate large or small groups and the large well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge provides space and a chance to relax or socialise as desired. A wonderful venue for visiting Snowdonia and the surrounding areas. Each time I go I am amazed by the continual improvements that have taken place.
Perfect for groups large or small.

Fantastic accommodation in a superb location and the improvements made since covid have made a very welcoming addition to a great hut, can't wait for the next visit.

We stayed as a group of 40 and was a perfect location - great facilities with large kitchen, drying room, comfortable rooms and very helpful all through the booking! Definitely recommend
