We had a brilliant stay at The Roost, we received a very warm welcome and quickly felt at home. Cabins are beautifully kept and clean with fully equipped bathroom and kitchen facilities. Perfectly located for trips to Bike Park Wales. Would love to return again!

We came for a long weekend to visit bike park wales. We only needed a place nearby to put our head down, but we got much more - a charming site, with a handful of wooden cabins tucked away from the street in a quiet and green corner. A private shower and a private kitchen which is fully stocked with all that's needed. Just bring food. Everything built to a very high standard and super well organised for mountain bikes - storage, washing station and drying room. Host was brilliant, plenty of information ahead of time about the site and loads of recommendations on what to do around, not that we had time to do those. Will definitely be back.

We booked a unit for two people while we were riding Bike Park Whales. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well equipped.

They have a bike wash area and work bench.

We loved sitting outside the hut while enjoying a drink and BBQ.

Will definitely go back.

Excellent place to stay for the Brecon Beacons ⛰ The Gap Cycle 🚲 Route, Taff Trail and Bike Park Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 , the hosts Kris and Kath , keep a wonderful natural peaceful setting. The cabins , kitchens and bathrooms 🚽 facilities are amazing. There’s plenty of info, Kath sent me info on the Gap ride( which we did - 46 miles in total by the time we got back to The Roost) A gem 💎 in the valleys.

We ha an excellent stay at The Roost, using it as a base for mountain biking in the region, at Bike Park Wales, Afan Valley and Dirt Farm. It's worth noting we were very lucky with the weather, which was hot and dry, so "glamping" was pretty ideal. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, and had plenty of power sockets. The kitchen was well-equipped and we really liked eating on the decking outside. Although it's tucked away at one end of a residential area, The Roost feels pretty secluded, and the trees and landscaping are really pleasant. We appreciated the bike-washing facilities and workstand a great deal, and the owners were keen to make sure we had everything else we needed, including a fan to keep us comfortable in the hot weather. We definitely hope to stay at The Roost again!

Had an amazing stay at The Roost whilst visiting Bike Park Wales. We had a large enough group to book the full site, which was great. The cabins are superb and very well thought out with bike storage, double bunk beds and USB charging sockets. Well equipped kitchens, spacious showers and a drying room, the owners really have thought of everything you'd need for a mountain biking trip, even a work stand and bike wash on site! Will definitely be back on our next trip to BPW.

Perfect location for stay with son for bike park wales and our dog. Sight secure so pup couldn’t escApe, right next to good walking path. Cabins cosy, warm with special space for clean washed bikes (area provided with great bike stand and hose so no excuse for dirty bike). Beds really comfy and roomy for adult and son. Drying room available, small but a n upgrade is planned. Great separate kitchen allocated to you along with a shower room all clean and with all you need. Easy access, great communication prior to arrival and close to everything you could need.Can’t fault the place will stay again.
And if the weather could be better fantastic. Boy did it rain for our biking and 4 night stay.

Fantastic, simple, clean glamping site that is really close to Bike Park Wales! Very affordable accommodation and an easy walk down the road for beers and a curry. Well thought out services such as bike storage and bike wash should you need them. Warm rooms with comfy bunk beds, a nice shower and kitchen area. Will come again.
