An absolutely brilliant self catering lodge in the gorgeous setting of the Powys countryside. The attention to detail in the furnishing, fixtures and fittings is stunning. Every home comfort that you could want is provided. It's dog friendly too.
We'll definitely be back.

Siskin Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is spotless and beautifully curated and the location is stunningly beautiful. Dogs are welcome too. Love it

Beautiful Lodge, we stayed at Siskin. 2 Couples and 2 dogs. It was a very relaxing location and because the bedrooms were on either side of the living area surprisingly private also. Its a great location and I would definitely recommend visiting the Red Kite Centre. Its mind blowing, there must have been 300 birds. Cannot fault our stay, clean, contemporary, we had an amazing time and I would recommend a holiday to Siskin Lodges to anyone.

It's been a while since my visit but I'm still smiling fondly about the lovely time we had. Such a little patch of heaven. The morning visit from the horses a highlight, as was reading in the hammock while the other half went for a run. Hope to be back soon. Everything was perfect x

This is a wonderful place for a holiday. The cottage is very well appointed and clearly the owners take great care of their guests and the property. To sit at the dining table and watch the ever changing landscape is one of the most memorable aspects of a great holiday.

Absolutely outstanding, the place was beautiful and immaculate. Lovely complimentary farm eggs and other items. Would highly recommend to stay there. A short car drive to some lovely dog friendly pubs, Tesco superstore and some lovely walks

Me and my fiancé stayed in Skylark Lodge out of the two Little Hill Lodges; Skylark sleeps two and Siskin sleeps four. Both have beautiful views in a lovely location with stunning scenery.

Skylark has a lounge area with l shaped sofa, telly with sound bar, dining room table over looking the hills, a kitchen with all the utensils and equipment you need, a gas oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, cleaning equipment, recycling areas too for all rubbish, it has a toilet and sink with open shower. A big bed with windows to soak in the views when having a cuppa in bed. There is a log burner at the end of the kitchen area (it does take a while for the lodge to warm up and to feel the best of the heat you would need to sit by it as can't really feel it by the sofa but a blanket is always good) The lodge is furnished and equipped to a high standard. It gives out a Scandinavian design. Every window has a view and the views are stunning off the hills and valleys.

Nicky and Andrew - the owners have really thought this out and have made it a home from home for those staying. Nicky is friendly and so are the animals. The two horses and dog are lovely to give cuddles and strokes too.

There are plenty of walks on the doorstep with footpaths and signs to follow around. You can also walk to Llandridiod Wells lake which takes about 30 minutes- there is a cafe there.
The road into Llandridiod Wells has a Texaco/Nisa and in the town there is Aldi and Tesco with other little shops. The town also has the old spa to walk around.
Elan Valley is a nice day out and for another walk look up "water breaks it neck" that has 3 trails to walk round too.

Would return to the Lodges.

Excellent accommodation, very comfortable, everything you would need. Great views down the valley and towards not very distant hills. We went on a number of walks from the lodge and others not far away. Very relaxing and enjoyable week we had in January 2022.
