We have stayed here about 4 times now. The location is brilliant, you can see the sea from our caravan. The site has wonderful flowers & shrubs everywhere and you wake up to bird song. We love the caravan. Caroline & Andrew are really nice & friendly. So glad we found this place!

Great quiet site for a lovely holiday.

The site is very well maintained, with lots of plants dotted around the park. Children's play area, launderette and bucket and spades available.

A very friendly welcome when we first arrived ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay, also ensured we knew how to use everything in the caravan.
The site is self catering and the B+ caravan we stayed in had the essentials required. All bedding was included for both the main double and the twin singles.
The caravan was designed for four people so there was 4x teaspoons/forks/knives/dessert spoons. Also 4x side plates/dinner plates/breakfast bowls/mugs. Tin opener, bread knife, pearing knife, bottle opener, Cork screw, peeler, chopping board, bread bin, frying pan, sauce pans, mixing bowls, potato masher. This list is not exhaustive and has items missing, basically the essentials are there.

You will need to bring a tea towel, your own towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The double bed was perfectly comfortable and a warm duvet which we other appreciated as the morning are still cold in May. Heating was in every room, although we only used the gas fire which put out ample heat in the living room.

The beach is a short walk, but it is down a fairly steep hill. There are several restaurants/cafes/pubs in Borth and two little shops which have you covered for most essential items.

I would definitely recommend this site if you want a quiet week away, couples and families looking for a beach holiday are sure to find what you want here, lads on tour or families who want the evening entertainment probably won't appreciate this site.

Just returned home after a lovely week here. Lovely little site, nice and peaceful and quiet, was just what I was looking for. Stayed with my sister and her partner, our caravan was just about big enough for us all to feel comfortable, and was a great base to go exploring the local area. There are a few nice places down in the village to go and eat if you don't fancy cooking, otherwise the Nisa Local at the bottom of the road has probably most of what you could ever need if you prefer to cater for yourself. The lack of on-site facilities wasn't an issue for us, if you want onsite bar, restaurant, entertainment etc then look elsewhere.
If you don't drive, the local bus 512 stops nearby on Heol Aberwennol which takes you down into Borth and on to Ynyslas, but check the timetable as only certain journeys towards Aberystwyth stop up there, you'd otherwise have to walk down to the stop by The Sands Bistro.
I found the owners quite friendly and ready to help, otherwise if you don't need them they will leave you alone in peace and quiet and to your own devices.
I can only speak for the particular caravan we stayed in, I let my companions use the large double bedroom (I heard no complaints from them) while I stayed in the smaller twin bedroom, the bed was a bit small for my liking, but I just about fit on it and was able to sleep quite well.
There was free wi-fi available, which wasn't brilliant to be honest, but then again wasn't an issue, as I wasn't planning to use it a lot anyway, it was meant to be a 'get away from it all' holiday after all!
Given the opportunity, I would have no hesitation in staying here again. For a quiet retreat from civilisation, this place fits the bill.

Lovely little caravan site!

The owners were friendly and happy to help with any enquiries. The caravans are a bit dated but spotless and well looked after! The site is quiet and just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Every caravan has a picnic bench outside so perfect for those days you fancy a bbq!
We've had the most relaxing holiday here and will definitely be back again!

Simple caravan site. Owners are extremely helpful and go the extra mile. Went off-season October prices very low but remember, you only get what you pay for.

This small friendly family run holiday park is very tranquil and relaxing. An ideal base from which to explore the mid Wales coast line.
Accommodation is very clean and comfortable, and excellent value for money.
