A very quiet, hidden spot. Me and my partner loved this place. We had no idea how to use the wood fire powered hot tub, but soon came to grips with it. Lovely little home!

Liked: We loved the view and the peacefulness of the place. Loved being able to let the children play without any worries. The toilets were always clean and the shower was great. Plenty of hot water and plenty of space. Nothing worse than trying to shower kids in a cramped cubicle. Thankfully the shower here was perfect. The kids loved the playground and the games room.

When I read the reviews there were a lot of comments about the code for the toilets. I spent the day before fretting that we hadn’t had a check in email or anything. But thankfully they have removed the need for a code and we didn’t need anything to check in.

We also really enjoyed the campfire.

Disliked: The games room definitely needs updating! The kids still enjoyed it but it could be a lot better.

Liked: Absolutely amazing site! The pitches themselves have such beautiful views. Right by the shower and toilets. Close enough to the park for the children to go themselves. Extra special facilities like the pizza oven and games area. The cherry on top was feeding the animals with Tom. Don't think we'll ever find a camp site as good as this!
The ladies at reception/shop couldn't do enough, lending us plates and a knife for us to have pizza as we'd forgotten to bring some with us. Thank you so much

Disliked: Silly really, but the hot water was a little too hot! As its not mixer taps the kids couldn't use the hot tap to wash as it was way too hot

We stayed as a family of 8 (one 2yr old) in Thatched Cottage, the farm is beautiful, quiet and great to get away from the hustle & bustle and hear the cockerel and dawn chorus in the mornings.
Thatched cottage is stunning and quirky, read the information book provided to appreciate the full history. The little single room was a little strange as it's wood panelled so noise can be heard from king size room and vice versa, my daughter could hear her son's ear buds when he was wearing them to watch a film in bed! Understand it's an old property but still think the cleaning could have been better, lots and lots of huge dusty cobwebs in all corners and ceilings..obviously didn't spoil our time here..just a small point as with the dirty cutlery. Our main issue and the one that would stop us booking this particular cottage is the free access through the garden to a large laundry building that is used by other guests on the site and staff via our garden..we paid to take our dog and a member of staff told the dog to be quiet when he entered through the gate into the garden..obviously our dog barked as he felt it was his territory and as we paid to take our dog i didn't appreciate the member of staff raising his voice. Sitting having family meals al fresco in the warm weather in the evening was also awkward as guests were back and fore with their laundry..definitely intrusive plus a security risk with a small child in our garden. It would be so easy to fix a gate and a few fence panels along the side of the laundry building to give the cottage privacy and security.
The customer service via email before our arrival was fantastic, every question answered..we made the best of our family time here and thoroughly enjoyed, if the points I've mentioned wouldn't bother you then book, you won't regret it!

Liked: Fantastic site, beautiful surroundings.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Although my children are really young they were able to roam and play alone which gave them some great freedom as its a small site.
Apple picking, making fresh juice and fresh pizzas on the last day was such a lovely and unexpected bonus.
We were also very lucky to have a clear night and the stars were incredible.
Would highly recommend and stay again.

Disliked: Only comment would be that the games room could do with updating and the sand pit clearing of debry like leaves etc

Wonderful stay in Saffir, (2 adults, girls age 9&12 and a cavapoo). the cabin was really well equipped, spacious and had glorious views out over the rolling hills - particularly wonderful at sunrise and sunset when viewed from the wood fired hot tub. We were also blessed with clear night skies, lit up with stars and even the milky way could be seen with the naked eye. The games barn was a lovely touch and we enjoyed making pizza twice during our stay (we took our own ingredients to make dough but discovered you could buy it pre made in the shop on site - if I'd known before hand, I would have used theirs!) We ventured down the coast to Poppit Sands and Tresaith, both lovely beaches. The view from The Ship in Tresaith is the perfect place to have a drink and watch the sun set on the horizon. All in all a lovely break and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely stay with my husband for my birthday. My husband asked for banners and balloons to be added along with flowers and Prosecco. Nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed in Aerona and it was beautiful. The bed was so relaxing. The wood fired hot tub and the log burner was luxurious! Definitely missing it now we are back home. Loved visiting the animals and admiring the views. 5 stars for us!

Absolutely magical place and the manger Elaine was fantastic with our children, showing them how to feed the sheep and cows. We stayed in the eco cabin and it was cosy yet spacious with astonishing views, breathtaking to wake up to. Every single thing was perfect and its not far from the coast many other attractions for the children. We loved it so much we are already planning our next trip back.
