Tranquil and relaxing. We have been visiting Castaways for many years now, firstly in the static caravan with our younger two children, and we continue to visit now bringing friends and staying in the Cottage - Penrhyn Mawr. We absolute love the upstairs lounge with views out to the Menai Straits, the Farmhouse Cottage Kitchen is heavenly to eat breakfast in and natter and plan for the days events. This place has everything one could desire for the most perfect, remote, peaceful, and get-away-from-it break you would ever need. We will never tire of visiting here, and with excitement am looking forward to our next visit in October this year.

Excellent place to come to get away from the madding crowd. Beautiful scenery,peace and quiet yet not too far away from places to see and visit. Lovely accomodation and a warm welcome from the owners. Very well equipped with everything you need if you want to do self-catering. I would highly recommend coming. Wild Life is amazing too.

We have been coming back to this place since 2014 every year. Fantastic place for a quiet holiday. Peaceful and quiet location. Lovely caravan (Willow). Great place for watching wildlife - birds, rabbits, hedgehogs etc.

Fantastic place stayed in a caravan. Only 2 vans and 3 cottages. Owner lovely greeted on arrival with lemon drizzle cake and fresh eggs. Very quiet if you enjoy peace.

Ray and Claire truly make your stay an fabulous experience. Pay attention to their recommendations and you can't go far wrong. The cottage is spacious, beautifully presented well appointed and the location is ideallic.
