UK Storage Worcester

I needed flexible storage for my stuff while I was abroad. I'd gotten a couple of quotes from the big name brands but a friend recommended UK storage for me as their Worcester facility was nearby. Their prices are much cheaper than the bigger companies so as a student it was a no-brainer.

The instructions were clear and the facility was very easy to use. The building is well kept with 24 hr security so I felt very comfortable leaving all my stuff there. You get 3 keys and a lock which you keep afterward to prevent key copying. The space was as expected and the dimensions as described.

I phoned the helpline a couple of times for different reasons and each time the phone was answered quickly and my issue was resolved in a quick and friendly manner.

In the chaos of moving I'd lost all the information about leaving the facility when finished, but I phoned the helpline and they were super helpful and tied up all the lose ends for me quickly and easily. The cleaning fee was about £8 which I thought was reasonable. I was told you're supposed to give 14 days notice to leave the facility, however as I had set up a monthly direct debit and paid to the month it was fine for me to just up and leave.

I had working hours access, I think it was 9-5ish but can't remember. In hindsight I should have paid the extra for 24 hour access, which I think was only a couple of pounds. You never know when you'll need access to your stuff in a pinch!

There are trolleys to move your things to the lift, the lift for your stuff is huge. There is no lift for people (the building cannot accommodate this) but there are not too many stairs. There is a toilet which is useful too. The facility is also next to a service station for food/petrol. Plenty of parking outside.

Overall I will definitely use UK Storage again, will recommend them, and think they offer fab value for money.

Very efficient process to book and check in. Customer service was excellent. The unit is new so it's very clean, tidy and well lit. The lift worked and there are several trolleys available at the entrance for moving stuff around. It's not particularly busy but there has always been someone around when I've visited.

Definitely a great experience! Responses to my queries arrived quickly whether via the chat function, by email or phone. The facility was extremely clean and easy to access. All team members were extremely friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was easily completed from a dashboard on my online account. The slightly frustrating thing was 1 lift servicing the whole place, but it wasn't that much of a drama.

I rented a storage space for one year. Easy booking and moving in process. Building is secure and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very efficient check in and very secure site. Prices are very good in comparison to competitors and the customer service team are friendly and helpful. Perfect for us for some temporary storage whilst moving house. Would highly recommend.

Good sized units and plenty of spaces to park. One lift and 6 trolleys to use. Can get expensive once you go over your initial cheap period. Had to leave as the price was killing us in this financial mess we're all in.

Customer service were sarcastic and presumed they were always right.
Payments kept increasing each month and when I asked for a reason they ignored the question. Wouldn't recommend you to anyone.
Only good aspect was that the storage was clean and the premises were tidy.
Hidden fees... Cleaning fees! Hidden insurance costs and no contract emailed to you.
Warning- people with anxiety and clostrephobia will struggle here. A member of my family couldn't enter the unit due to the corridors being really narrow and lack of any sort of window anywhere. Looks and feels like a prison.
