Their staff are great, I would give them 5 stars if there was a separate option for that but there isn't.
During the ongoing pandemic, many landlords often offer their tenants, both private and business ones, reduced rates.
What is Safestore's way of helping their customers? They increase prices 25%. Just like that, in one go. Because they can.

I had to book then un-book storage due to delays in my house purchase. Mo could not have been more helpful and professional during what was a stressful time. I can't recommend this company highly enough, am very grateful for the kindness shown in working around a highly fluid situation.

Mohammed's customer service was second to none. Clear explanation of the process, price, and Safestore's policies. Even assisted me in getting a Man&Van quote for the move. I spoke to many storage units to get quotes and this was by far the easiest & best experience.

We used the New Cross storage for a couple of weeks when our daughter moved university accommodation. In general everything was straightforward. Both members of staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a bit unclear where we should park when checking in. When we checked in, the member of staff took us to our unit but it was the wrong one as it was locked, so it took a few minutes to find us another room. A couple of weeks later when we emptied the unit the lift was not working to begin with, but luckily it started working on our second trip. All things considered we would happily use them again.

Great communication and follow up throughout. I dealt with Jhon and he accommodated all my needs (despite me dragging my feet at the very beginning of the process), explained things clearly and was professional. He was polite respectful and genuinely motivated to find the best deal to suit my storage needs. Thank you

The location is great and they even provide a list of removal services to help you. They communicate via email or phone and do follow up on things.
