Safestore Self Storage London Kings Cross

Quite expensive and I also got overcharged. Had to follow up a few times before getting refunded. In addition, the storage spaces lack of any lighting and mine was quite dirty. Not a bad experience overall, but definitely improvements are needed.

Began everything with a phone call regarding availability. Was given the all-clear and invited to bring my things. Moving in was swift and easy, the staff are professional, helpful, efficient and generally great. I'm just disappointed about the hours for access. I'd moved my storage closer to home, away from the Safestore I previously had in Bermondsey which is 24 hour access. The access here is limited to the staffed hours. I was informed Covid brought an end to 24 hours access at this site. Disappointing.

they are a total rip off, overcharged and you can not access the storage anytime you like, it has to be within a timeframe that works for them.

Also they will make you feel comfortable as a customer and act all nice, till they impose a late fee on your account- i had to pay extra 40 pounds for no reason- They had said it was okay for me to come on the weekend to pay, and on that weekend, they said it’s past 7days and i have to pay £40 late fee. The manager Gill is the worst of them all, very useless, so rude, unhelpful, and a waste of time if you actually need help.

I'm really pleased with my experience here. The staff were very nice and helped me whenever they could, the storage facilities are larger than they appear and I had no problems at all moving things from my student accommodation into the storage room. Overall, very happy with how easy and smooth the whole process was. I'll definitely leave my things here again next time.

very good customer service, i am beyond satisfied with my experience so far. The email replies that i got were very quick and detailed, i had a lot of questions and everyone was super helpful. I am currently a university student and due to the pandemic I am stuck in my native country and therefore could not move my belongings out of my university accommodation without the help of my sister who is currently in London. The staff has been super helpful and understanding with my current situation and have created a stress free, smooth move. Thank you to all the staff that helped me answer my questions :)

Massive price hikes after 12 months. Short term it's a good option. If you look at all bad reviews you can see some price increases are 110%. Over double. If you don't want to pay then you have double the hassle to move, double hassle to get the van again. If you can afford double your monthly fee then go right ahead. The staff are lovely.

Hadila was fantastic in supporting us with an urgent requirement for some storage space. Within an hour, we had the contract set up, payment made, space sorted, fobs in hand and goods safely stored away.
