The customer service is awful. More training is required. When i rang up to make my initial payment, the boy couldn't answer my questions and just hung up the phone. They will not be top of my list when looking for storage places. Customer Service plays a big part in whether i would want to do business with a company.

Please anyone that works here to respond. You have locked early due to system failure with no warning meaning many of us standing outside I ARRIVED AT 9:30pm can not get items we need for tomorrow. I have items for a wedding That needs to be at the venue at 8:30am. PLEASE CAN ANYONE RESPOND. ITS NOT FAIR.

5hours later still nothing.

All the process of booking, sign in was easy.
The staff is friendly and diligent. Particularly, Mr Damon was quite enthusiastic and helpful from initial website inquiry to handing over the storage space.

Friendly service and willing to go the extra mile. This branch treats you as individuals and provides a personal service, ensuring they do their best to make you happy. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend and use again. Extremely happy

We were allowed to inspect 2 different size of lockers before selecting the larger one for our needs. The man on the desk sorted it all out for us quickly and efficiently while also still being chatty and personal so it didn’t feel so much like a transaction. Very good service received that day!

Damon and the team were really professional and helpful, everything was set quickly and smooth. Thank you, boys! I am a first time user and was surprisingly impressed by the service. Would absolutely recommend Shurgard Self Storage to anyone!

Spoke to Damon about my situation and he couldn’t have been more knowledgable and helpful. He made me feel completely at ease in a situation that is generally stressful (no-one ever really wants to put their belongings in Storage). What a great start to my storage experience!

In regards to staff it's no stars. It gets 2 as the unit appears clean and accessibility is convenient. Sincebi began renting this unit approximately 2 years ago the price has almost doubled.

Their direct debit system is terrible (I have my dd go out of a particular account & I was wrong by one day as to when I needed to transfer the money, 1 bounced back payment & tou DD is cancelled when a majority of companies will attempt it again or get in contact). My DD was just cancelled, I didn't realise & was sent an invoice. Normally it was for information purposes. I repeatedly contacted Shurguard Purley way stating it looked different and was all as the money hadn't left the account. I was assured all was fine twice. Then sent a late payment email. Complained stating I had asked if anything was wrong & was given such a poor service that I was shocked. Wrote an email of complaint but nothing. Then as no DD & I'm terrible with dates had a call when a few days late for a payment some months later (funny how quick they chase foe their money but don't care how people are treated), it was the same manager that had been rude via email. I pointed out how quick they were to call for money and he then started saying o your complaint about direct debits which was not the point of my complaint at all. It was rude, untrained staff who lacked appropriate knowledge to adequately fulfill their roles as well as what seemed to be a total lack of customer service skills & this included the manager. I stated I wanted an official response after my complaint was considered properly & ro this day I have heard nothing!
