Removers and Storers Ltd

DO NOT USE THIS SO CALLED COMPANY. Van was not big enough, ended up having to do five trips in a people carrier to get the last of my stuff to my new home. Got told to F**k off by the driver who later tried to intimidate me and told me I'd see later.
I had two damaged door frames, a broken mirror. I tried to deal with the company on many occasions to no avail I even spoke to the owner Mr Jason Bedding who was rude, tried to call me a liar. I did in the end get an email offering me £150.00 but I'm still waiting, having to involve a moving body called Move Assured to try and pursue what's owing to me. Do not engage with this company, there are much better cheaper ones around. My move was mid October 2016

Absolutely deserve a 5 star service. Right from the outset the company were professional and put our minds at ease. We had several quotes...all from local reputable companies (one didn't bother showing up for a survey, one got our details wrong and would have potentially moved us miles away and one had a very poor attitude despite them being very well known). We based our decision on value, services offered and overall feel for the company as we are entrusting our whole life with them at a very stressful time. We also went with our gut feeling as to who felt more trustworthy.

The man that attended for the survey/quote, the sales/customer service staff and removal guys on the day were all helpful, friendly and supportive. We had some issues with our dates and staff at the office were happy to save our date every time without issue. On the day we had an issue with someone in the chain and got delayed by four hours. The guys on the van didn't once complain. They remained professional throughout (despite the tears and hysterics).

Throughout the whole experience this company really put us at ease, treated us, our homes (old and new) and goods with respect with office staff checking in on the day to make sure all was going smoothly.

This was a very stressful move for us but the company and staff really made this smooth and I would strongly recommend them (already have). It sounds odd and probably a complete coincidence but they have nailed what staff go where...first appointment very professional and informative, sales pitch (Tom) which I promised i would not fall for..spot on. Not pushy, very friendly and good seller, Elle - excellent customer care..just a phone call every now and then to check in..and removal guys on the day just got in and got the job done. Friendly, professional and did a Stirling job. Well done guys!!

Had a fantastic experience moving with Removers & Storers. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. The removal guys on the day were first class, nothing was too much hassle. I have already recommended them to all of my family and friends if they are ever to need removals! Thank you!

The guys worked like Trojans for several hours and got us packed up and unpacked in a very timely fashion. I have recommended Removers and Storers to friends and would definitely use them again. My only minor gripe was that they arrived an hour late but they were courteous in keeping me updated. Thank you for making our moving day go so smoothly!

Excellent service from start to finish, the whole team are very professional but at the same time very friendly and helpful with every aspect of moving. We have a particularly difficult problem with getting a baby grand piano into our new home but the team took it in their stride and it was achieved without any undue stress which to us was very important as it is a family heirloom. Thanks to the whole team

Do not bother to take out their premium insurance policy as they will not let you make a claim.........we had a couple of items of furniture damaged which they did repair, but we also had bedroom furniture damaged that could not be repaired, they offered compensation which was so low it was a joke, when we requested a claim form from Jason Bedding the director, he was to refuse to give us one stating the damage did not justify a claim, not his place to make that decision. Why let people buy a policy when they obviously have no intention of letting you claim on it should the unfortunate incident of damage occur. No they did not intentionally damage our furniture, but they could have dealt with it in a more professional manner, and this is aimed at the director who really should take a course on customer care.

On 1st March we moved from Kent to West Midlands. We used Removers and Storers and were very happy with the service. Despite horrendous weather conditions and an eight hour journey for them they kept us up to date where they were. The guys were polite and friendly and on arrival went round the house to double check what needed to be loaded. On arrival in Dudley in even worse conditions they battled through and made sure we were happy. They then had the long journey back. Thanks guys. Appreciate all you did.

Shocking. Paid for a full packing service to include dismantling and re-assembling of 3 cabin beds and a trampoline. The guys on the day were very hard working and nice to deal with but the furniture was damaged with being scraped around the floor of the van and against walls without adequate protection. There were some small things that were lost, but worst of all they didn't assemble the beds at the end of the day. They couldn't as they couldn't remember how they went together and had lost a lot of the screws. They were then closed and have not been back in contact. Would not recommend using these people.
If you do decide to use them, don’t pay the full amount until you’re happy the job is completed. After arriving at new house they wanted second half of payment up front before they would unload the van. I paid them and then most of the staff left, leaving only 2 guys. Neither of them had the screws from the disassembled furniture nor the knowledge to re-assemble it.
