Late check in when I arrived because their cleaning team was understaffed, and it showed. I stayed in their 1-bedroom apartment for 8 days, below are my experiences with the stay:

Bedroom: listed as queen bed, but it was a small full-sized bed. Not a comfortable bed.
Bathroom: toilet didn't have a tank and felt like you were using a public toilet. It does not flush easily.
Living room: decent view. The 2 seat red couch was absolutely disgusting, very heavily stained.
Kitchen: same, cabinets seemed like they were water damaged. Fridge smelled weird. I wanted to cook breakfast there but the stainless steel pan was so stained. Found an appliance book under the sink and it was the grimiest thing I've ever touched.
Bugs: found a cockroach in the utility closet when I was digging out a fan, the rooms were too warm during the day. No instructions on how to use A/C.

This is the dirtiest hotel I've stayed at. Not good value for the money, I suggest staying at a proper hotel nearby or go farther out from the financial district.

Started with hotel charging me £296 a night instead of £206, provided an email with the booking and they agreed the room rate of £206. Apartment was large but no air conditioning and extremely loud in the very early morning (5-6 am).

When I checked out they add vat onto my £206 despite my booking be a total of £206 per night. Dispute is ongoing with the hotel

I got a one bedroom apartment on the first floor and was disappointed considering I paid £780 for 3 nights. The main problem was the noise from the underground trains runing every 20 minutes or so. Thar makes our sleep of my family difficult until 1am and after 5am then the service starts to run again. Very disappointing also not to have soap! The hotel run out of soap and advise us to clean our hands with the shampoo.
The apartment is spacious, contemporary decorated and clean but doors and kitchen furniture seems tired. The location is good but view from the window as to an internal outdoor corridor facing office windows, nothing from London can be seen from there.
The corridor near to our room smelled like a powerful disinfectant, like a chemical toilet which make the way to my room really nauseating for me. The room smells OK.
Staff was efficient and helped in what they could. Reception opened 24hs and always present.
I has stayed for months in another Marlyn in Canary Wharf and it was great, much better standards. I think I will not use again these apartments.

Had a two-bed flat, which had a nice layout and new-ish kitchen. But…

No air-con, which I suppose is not too surprising given the price, but that means in August you must have all the windows open. And the pub downstairs is very, very loud and the crowd spills into the street beneath your windows. Also the underground trains rumble the building every couple minutes from 5am to midnight. On top of that, there are burnt out lights, they didn’t give us a towel for every person, the wifi took some figuring out (it’s not the network on the keychain they give you), the drapes don’t close to block out any light shining in from close-neighboring office buildings that leave lights in overnight, and the back elevator and lobby (which is closer to half of the flats) absolutely stinks of garbage. I won’t be back, and I regret booking it for so long as there isn’t anything else available nearby to change to.

If I were traveling alone for work, this would probably all be tolerable, since I wouldn’t be spending much time there. But I chose this place to have a flat so I could travel with my family. Not recommended.

Great location for all the major historical sites. Cleanliness leaves a little to be desired. Staff friendly and willing to help with their knowledge of the area.

The location is cool. The beds were comfy…but we didn’t get the room we were expecting. The Wi-Fi went out and the room was quite dusty. Management tried to help with the Wi-Fi but they really do need to clean the rooms from top to bottom.
It’s very close to a couple of underground stations so, yes, you do hear a rumble. Would I stay again? No. 😕

I would give this place 0 stars if i could, paid 7500 pounds for 22 nights. Got an apartment with broken curtain, broken window handler, broken bin, disgusting smell in the apartment, lights not working, super bad cleaning, heater not even working, lift broken for 5 days now, and you call your self a 4 star place? Disgusting, even after complaining about all these stuff they told me they would bring someone the next day to fix the problems and no one came. Garbage, 0 stars would never recommend anyone to set foot in this place.
