I have just had the most wonderful experience in the Selfridges Timpsons. I put on a pair of heels for a meeting this morning and realised the plastic grips covering the heels tore to the metal causing an annoying sound while walking and damaging the shoe. As I noticed it only when I left my house I had no other shoes with me. I went to Timpsons and 2 very nice and helpful guys: one called Stefan and the other one with a beard - helped me on the spot. I just had to wait a few minutes. It was very kind. Thank you very much for understanding and a quick professional service. Best of luck!

Staff was kinda missing half of the time but hey they get the job done

On 6.1.22 I went to Timpson at Selfridges because of a problem related to the Yves Saint Laurent watch they serviced.The manager was not there so I had to speak to a deputy named Stefan. Unfortunately, he was very disrespectful, arrogant & instead of trying to help with my genuine complaint, he kept insinuating that what I said was not valid! This upset me so much & I left planning to go back on Monday to see the manager, hoping that I’d receive a better customer service.

Person working today at 12.30 - appalling customer service - I was waiting patiently and wanted my Casio watch fixed. Was apprehensive entering selfridges with a cheap watch…

I asked for it to be cut and adjusted as it wasn’t working to do it the easy way (Timpsons in Holborn has cut before) and he replied ‘what do you mean you can’t cut it, you just move it’ when I said it wasn’t working he said ‘course you can you’re just doing it wrong’ and then I said ok it’s probably broken don’t worry about it, he tutted, grabbed it, pushed it in place and walked off to serve another customer and didn’t even look at me.

PATRONISING, RUDE, ABRASIVE. Spoke to me like a child - probably because I look young and am a woman and don’t look rich? Was pleasant enough to an older gentlemen he addressed as ‘sir’ when he walked away and was being really nice to the elderly couple in front of me so again, clearly capable of being nice.

Ironic when his generation say young people have no manners!

… it’s never too late to be kind to everyone no matter who they are or what they are worth to you.

STAY AWAY FROM TIMPSON SELFRIDGES
Absolutely appalled by what an employee from Timpson Selfridges did to my shoes that were in immaculate condition (Valentino rockstud flats) They scratched all the upper part (leather) when all they had to work on was the sole and the heel (which were incredibly poorly done as well). All I wanted was an additional sole and heel in order to protect the shoes as I was planning to start wearing them-THEY WERE WORN ONLY INDOORS). Twice I went back, asked them to polish the scratches and they did 80% but with the most intimidating and discriminating attitude I’ve ever seen in my entire life from any sales assistant!
Then they’ve sent a male manager who also tried to intimidate me with the tone of his voice, promised to call me back with a solution and never did. STAY AWAY FROM TIMPSON SELFRIDGES!

I had a key cut which did not open the lock it was for. I went following week and it was re cut and this time it did unlock. The cutting took about 15 minutes so it was okay to hang around.
