ECCO Winchester

I went into ECCO recently to buy a new pair of shoes for work. the supervisor there was far more knowledgeable about what shoes and insoles would be good for my plantar fasciitis than many of the others I have spoken to at other high street shoe shops in Winchester. I was really impressed and the shoes have been amazing. Will definitely be back for another pair very soon.

This is a comment on environmentally unfriendly advertising practices.
ECCO Winchester had one of its advertising lorries parked, with engine running, for at least 45 minutes in Sainsburys Badger Farm Car Park. I knocked on the window to ask the driver why he had the engine running. He said (a) it was none of my business, (b) he was doing a job and (c) it was LPG so didn’t matter! I emailed ECCO customer care who acknowledged my email, but declined to say what action they would be taking. This was the day after the COP summit, so particularly disappointing that anybody thinks it’s a good thing to leave an engine running. But when the driver is clearly doing nothing - he was lolled in his cab with his feet up - it is downright ignorant. It certainly detracts from the ECCO brand.

I have had great service on three visits now. The staff listen to what I need and give helpful advice. I am very pleased with the shoes I have bought there. Fantastic small shop and a great addition to Winchester.
