I would like to express my delight at getting my 92 year old mother sorted with sandals and winter shoes. Amanda was so patient and certainly has an incredible knowledge of selling customers the correct shoes. Myself and my daughter will be returning to this amazing shop with a fantastic selection of shoes and accessories Thank you so much

I needed sandals but my feet are narrow so not easy to fit but Amanda always finds shoes
when I need them and found just what I needed. Nothing is too much trouble for her.She is very calm and patient.Visit and see .

Excellent personal service. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly assistant who helped my 83 year old Mum find a nice pair of comfortable shoes for her swollen feet. Mum was thrilled with the shoes. Lovely shop with very pretty decor. Easy to find. Free parking down the road in portchester precinct car park.

Due to my large foot size I wasn't expecting much success when I visited Solent Shoes. I am pleased to say I left very happy having found a pair of shoes to fit!! Very refreshing to have someone willing to serve and in such a relaxed and patient manner. After this experience I was happy to return with my husband who hates shopping! The relaxed, friendly and helpful attitude of Amanda led to another happy customer and a pair of shoes for my husband which he is really happy with as they are comfortable and fit well. There is also a lovely range of original and quality accessories in the shop which were very tempting and great for gifting. It was well worth the journey over!!

Excellent service from the proprietor: Amanda. The hospital podiatrist recommended a particular style of shoes for mum. I was initially going to order them online and direct and used the measuring chart from the catalogue. However decided to visit an official and local stockist to try them on and make sure. Thankfully we did this and avoided a lot of hassle by going to Solent Shoes. Amanda measured mum’s feet properly and we found they were different to my DIY measuring efforts and ordered them in. We went back this weekend for the 2nd visit and it transpired that this style was never going to work. The fronts were fine but mum has small ankles and there was too much room at the back. Amanda suggested an alternative and well received style instead that still met the required aims. I was so impressed with the professional and friendly service that I bought a pair of stylish and comfortable suede slippers for myself too. I also think that the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the products. Thanks again for your help and thoroughly recommend this firm.
