I have bought many times from this store, but my last experience was a total shock. There were 2 guys in the store a TALL guy saying he was the big manager and a young teenager. I was about to buy 2 pairs of shoes and slippers for over £90 altogether , and for the first time, I just wanted to test my loyalty to this shop against theirs to me(inexistant), in the last year alone I have spent over £350 in this store, so I said to the manager, that as I have been shopping here for a while, well you should give me the shoe shine brush (£2.99) as a gift part of my purchase.
The reaction of the so called big manager was alarming, he made me feel as if I was begging for his charity, I felt bad, so I said you would rather lose me as a customer, lose today's sale, then give away a brush worth £2.99 (RRP), and he said YES!
So I left the shop and he wasn't even sorry, and jokingly said byeeeeeee.
I went to Clarke on the other side of the outlet, I have done the same thing, guess what? The manager was more than happy to give away a show brush after I purchased 2 pairs of shoes for £89. Of course it's not about £2.99 when you spend that sort of money, it's a matter of principle and sole trader have failed big time, I will never use them again and I will make every effort to discourage any family or friends from purchasing from them.
Stay away from this arrogant sole trader shop and it's arrogant, ungrateful and unknowledgeable staff! Never again!!!!!

Do not buy from this soletrader shop. I bought a pair of work boots from them, worn them for one day and the metal cut into my foot. I took them back and they sent of to there head office to be told nothing is wrong with them and they will not refund. I have been spoken to and treated like rubbish. Please be warned do not purchase from these as all you will have is problems!

Went to dr.Martens, new store is perfect, I loved the store and the service.
One of the girls is french and was so nice and helpful! (Mandatory stop from now on).
And Bose store, the best brand ever, the guys there will never leave a client unhappy. They haven't let me down for 9 years and helped me again today with a problem I had on my headphones.

I went in the Ashford Outlet on 2 occasions to try on a pair of shoes. The staff were friendly and the first time i checked the price they were £43 and the second time I went in they had a 30% sale ticket on. I asked the new price and they were still £43.
I asked why the price was still the same and they told me in the sale they put the original price up.

DONT TRUST THEIR SALE PRICES!!!

They are in the designer outlet! Good range of shoes on offer but anyone with wide feet, it’s a struggle to shoe that does not strangle your toe. A good sample looked good then, you would find out your feet didn’t fit. It was a shame as some of them where really nice shoes. There wasn’t a lot of staff visible on the shop floor when I needed help

Slow service and nothing in stock. Don't bother coming

2022: Still awful. Guess I'm the fool for coming back. Been standing at the till for 5mins and haven't even seen a member of staff yet. Over the years, I've tried to buy about 20 pairs of shoes here and one has been in stock. What's the point of constantly joining a slow queue to find out?

Unable to do no stars.
Been waiting in shop for the 2nd time today.
The sales assistants seem too busy talking to each other than helping the customer.
Wanted to buy 2 pairs of trainers...waited for assistants for too long, so walked out.

So on the 31st August I purchased some kickers shoes for my son for school from the ashford outlet store, he wears them to school and back from school everyday and that is it, no games are played in them, no sports and he only wears them to school, one day last week I went to polish them and noticed that there was a huge hole on the top of the shoe, I was completely gobsmacked so off I go to the outlet today to exchange the shoes for another pair as 4 months worth of wearing I didn’t feel was enough for what should be a high quality pair of shoes that cost £40, I showed the sales assistant the shoes and she said the hole would be seen as general wear and tear and that nothing could be done, i actually asked her if she was being serious, yes she was, and there was nothing that could be done, so I asked for a phone number for head office and apparently there isn’t one which is how I ended up with an email address, I also asked her if she thought £40 for a pair of shoes to last 4 months was acceptable and even she said no, but still wasn’t prepared to do anything about it, the fact they look so worn says more about the quality of the shoe than what she is insinuating what my child has done with them
