High quality women & men shoes, handcrafted, modern design and affordable prices. Also, I really like the fact that I can buy the shoes online, louis-coca.com

Definitely not a fan. As an American tourist, I was dragged by my girlfriends to visit Camden while in London, not knowing that it's one of the most dangerous boroughs in London. Thankfully, nothing bad happened to us.

Now about the shoe store, it's rather small, and its displays are mostly full of men's formal shoes, which I know for sure not even my grandfather would wear. Yeah, they're mainly old-fashioned, poor quality, ugly designs, with prices ranging between £100 and £175.

The materials are low quality, and the lining is cheap. This is worse with their rubber-sole shoes. They claim to make their shoes out of "premium calf leather," but they're clearly made out of several types of faux leather (possibly PU), with cheap laces, and glued-in second-rate rubber soles (just to name a few things).

One of my girlfriends ended up buying a pair of black sneakers with white chunky rubber-soles, fake suede, and a horrible lining. She paid about £130 for them. Sadly, the first time she wore them, they absolutely ripped her feet to bits leaving her with blisters. To make matters worse, a day later, the sole ripped off from the top front of the shoe (what a waste of money).

Back in our hotel, we checked the store's website for their refund policy, only to find out a bunch of bogus claims, in addition to their awful grammar mistakes (like jumping from first to third-person pronouns).

First, in their "Our Story" tab, they state to have a "shoemaking family background" that originated in Romania, going back at least two generations. However, they fail to provide any dates. Maybe that's why they didn't label it as Our History, and instead, they called it Our Story (LOL).

They also claim to have Italy as their brand's main market since as they state, "the early years," but again, no dates are given. Yet, the only renowned shoe brand in Italy with a name close to Coca has been - Coca by M. Maraolo - which nowadays you can only find on eBay.

Moreover, through secondary research, we found out that the Coca surname is from Segovia, Spain, and not from Romania. Lastly, we also learned that the owner's actual background is in furniture making. That explains why these people don't have a clue about shoemaking.

In closing, taking a good look at how they want to position themselves, it's clear that Louis Coca shoes is a Louis Vuitton wanna-be brand, but in contrast, their brand doesn't even get close to LV in quality, transparency, or originality.

One last thing, during our visit, the salespeople kept almost harassing us about trying their coffee, which by the way it was also gross and overpriced.

There is an excellent range of shoes for both men and women! The designs are unique and every shoe really does feel crafted to the highest quality. The staff are very helpful and friendly and Louis Coca has become a really nice spot to visit when I'm out and about in Camden.

Very good proper tasting coffee
Muffins are excellent too
And it’s open before 10 :)
Will be coming back!

Note to management: you should mark your shop as a coffee shop on Google maps - searching for Coca Coffee doesn’t currently find it
