Started off great with the lovely assistant measuring all 3 of my children's feet she did great. Unfortunately the owner gave the worst customer service and attitude when it came to helping us choose the shoes to the point where I was told nor even to take shoes off the shelf. She was very rude in front of my children and would never go there again.

The shop is supposed to close at 18.00. I got to the shop at 17.51 and was told they were closing , the tills were shut and I could quickly browse if I wanted to. I said but you don't close until 18.00 and was told no tills open so nothing they could do. Just no interest in offering customer service. From there I went to Superdrug (who also shut at 18.00) bought items and got served, came out and there was still a couple of minutes before closing so it could have been possible to return items at the Clarks which is what I wanted to do. Really poor service.

Popped in as my 4 year old boy hasn’t had new shoes since lockdown and his feet have grown. Was absolutely delighted with the cleanliness and service. Impressively, they had a portable glass screen that allowed my son to get his feet measured safely with just his foot picking through! Quality of Clark’s can’t be underestimated so all in all very happy!

The 2 staff members there today were really friendly to us and our 2 sons, both of who needed their feet measuring.
The staff went out of their way to help us choose some new shoes but unfortunately they were quite low of stock in the sizes we needed, otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.
Having said that, we still managed to get some really nice shoes, just not our first choice.

Nice store, always clean, fresh, and vibrant inside.
The staff are very polite and happy to help with any possible needs or concerns.

The only downside is the store is relatively small for the amount of stock I imagine they could do with putting on display.

Still, I like that the store has two entrances because it's on the corner where the main road with shops and pedestrian access meets a high-street that's been pedestrianised (with more shops).
The Clarks store boasts a lot of light inside at all times since the two shop sides that face outwards are mainly windows, so this gives it a very airy feeling inside.

Amazing staff, I came with my daughter and twin granddaughter’s aged 3 (one who has very special needs ) today. They were so kind and helpful putting the children’s needs first , I really can’t thank them enough and will definitely be back when their feet grow , ,many thanks again , Marcelle Atkins

We were assisted by Alana when purchasing school shoes for my daughter. We were very impressed with Alana’s commitment to achieving the best possible fit and maximum comfort.

It was evident that Clarks have trained their staff to fit shoes perfectly. Alana’s interaction with my daughter was pleasant and helpful and made for a happy shopping experience.

We will certainly return.

It's not the first time I've been disappointed by this branch.
Lookomg for school shoes. They carry very little stock so no choice in the right size. Once we'd found the right size that is. They measured and insisted on a size which was clearly fat too small. And it's not the first time this has happened.
So disappointing.
