I visited recently with my partner. We were both extremely immpressed with Angelas knowledge and professionalism. We weren't even looking for shoes but saw the shop and had a very pleasant and amusing 30 minutes buying 2 pairs!! I just wish there was a similar establishment catering for men :) Thank you, I have no doubt we'll be back. Incidentally, we found the Fat Pig and it was excellent!!! Maureen and Colin.

Elizabeth Ann has the most beautiful shoes and I was excited to buy several pairs. Unfortunately the owner was rude. When I asked about sizing available she impatiently told me they were on the label as though it was obvious. I thanked her and thought perhaps she didn’t mean to say it in that tone. As I was looking I turned she was right there so almost bumping into her, I apologised although no one at fault here to which she tutted at me. I felt very uncomfortable and it was clear she treated me as though I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. Again great shoes, I hope the owner can reflect on how she treats customers.

Some of the comments given on here clearly don't see excellent customer service. I have been to this shop and each time have been given excellent service - sure Angela gives you her opinion but why shouldn't she, she is extremely knowledgeable in her field. I for one am very grateful. My most recent purchase of a suede pair of black shoe boots are stunning and I can't wait to return. Thank you so much!

came here with my dad and was amazed by the help of Angela!!, helped me search for the perfect boot then came back with my friend and got some amazing new shoes! extremely comfortable and the service was unbelievable!! thank you so much!!! would definitely recommend visiting !!!

Elizabeth Ann is my shoe and boot saviour! I have just purchased two stunning pairs of high quality boots at a fantastic price. I last purchased boots from Elizabeth Ann in 2016, and I still wear them to this day, they are such great quality they have lasted 5years and are still going. I really can’t believe the other reviews, as Elizabeth Ann was exceptionally helpful; she listened to my needs, she suggested new styles, and was spot on with the choice of shoe had me try - It was perfect !!! This personal and friendly approach is why I would not bother shopping anywhere else for unique and quality boots! Thank you - and Happy Christmas !

An absolute gem of a shop, after visiting nearly every high street shoe shop we found this store via a google search. The knowledge they have of their stock and quality of products is outstanding. It did cost me though as I had to buy two pairs of boots for my wife! We will definitely return. Thanks for your help and guidance!!

So I'd like to add that I am writing this review many months after visiting this delightful gem 💎 in Exeter.
I bought 3 pairs of fabulous court shoes in the sale. The shoes are fantastic quality, I always get compliments on them when I wear them.
I am looking forward to my next visit to Exeter in a couple of weeks where I am looking forward to getting some winter boots.
The lady that served us was so kind and took the time when I purchased the shoes to make sure I was happy.
The comments on here really do upset me that people feel so differently.
May I suggest people appreciate the quality of the shoes on offer here and understand that small independent shops like this need to be supported. They are a dying breed.

Shopped here on many occasions, and bought wonderful shoes and boots.
I love the variety that you cannot purchase on the high st. I fully understand that as a small independent seller you wouldn't always get your size as it's not feasible to buy in bulk, but Angela is lovely and will try to if it's early in the season.
